  1. Saying that was absolutely fantastic doesn’t do it justice. The best Don’t Cry I’ve ever heard.
  2. Hydro wasn’t almost full. Top section was curtained off sans one section in the middle.
  3. I don’t really watch music videos anymore so am unaware of this is an original(ish) concept or not. I wouldn’t say it was absolutely terrible, it’s interesting enough.
  4. Not much to say on this subject other than I observed Frank and his wife (I assume it was his wife) watch The Pretenders together from the Golden circle of a Guns show in Europe just a few months ago.
  5. With the performance of this song I’m almost seeing the band in a new light, as entering into a new period as a functioning collaborative that releases music, I also see them further now from AFD/UYI as I ever have. It’s almost as if this lineup has legitimacy as a stand-alone act. They’ve been performing under the name “Guns N’ Roses” for a long time without it ever feeling that they were greater than the sum of their parts or that it wasn’t ever them just trying to relive the past (I’ve never felt that Slash has been totally committed to this thing), and Duff has only been along for a hell of a ride. It looks a little bit different now, shame this period will last only for a few days. They need to get back out on the road next summer.
  6. I hope they do something. This band is too good not to be the limelight.
  7. Damn, those guys and girls have a lot of awesome band and Axl pics on their Instagrams.
  8. Haven’t listened to the leak that much but have a watched a few videos from this show of this song and I’m impressed. This is a good song that’s about to be released by a ‘legacy’ band. I don’t think there will be many other bands releasing songs as good as this 35 years into their careers. Thanks uncle Ax for ‘the vault’. Wasn’t too fussed for an album before, think there should be one now, get WL and release a LP.
  9. Yeah, decent size then. Guess the camera angle wasn’t displaying the arena in all its glory, kind of looked small from Del’s shots.
  10. Weird that at the tail end of this massive tour they’re playing these tiny venues. Quite a contrast to the size of this place to Budapest, say. Maybe just filling in the gaps until LA. This tour feels like it’s gone on forever.
  11. On the PTU live stream it looks as if Dizzy is playing a guitar.
  12. Cheers. So maybe 100 bucks for high up, bit more maybe? (I’m not from the US so not experienced with pricing these days).
  13. Thanks for the insight, yeah I think I need to dispel the notion that these are intimate shows, it looks huge actually. So with cost in mind, just usual prices then for this run? The Hollywood Florida show was expensive but l guess it’s less than half the size of this place.
  14. Didn’t know this existed, will give a listen tomorrow.
  15. These Axl talks are like rants, it’s almost like it’s 2002 again.
  16. Not much of the RQ outro was baritone (just enough tbh), still I quite liked it.
  17. He sounds pretty good here for the most part, the early part of the song could have been from the early nineties. There’s a tone and warmth to this voice that I think has been lacking in other baritone attempts. You know I still want it to sound like Axl is singing, and not loud talking. I could listen to that without being distracted. Estranged has been a weakness song since the reunion, sadly. This sounds like an improvement.
