  1. Axl is gonna Axl. I'd love to hear this track. Great song, epic line up. I suspect it might be a short while at least, not only because of Axl, but we've just had Mark Knofler release a single with a tonne of guest artists (inc Slash) for TCT - maybe it'll be in the next month or two? It's been laid down since 2017, so that's kinda in line with Axl's usual timeframe.
  2. 1. Rocket Queen 2. Ain't it Fun 3. There Was a Time 4. Coma I picked something from each major era/album, but avoided the likes of Civil War, YCBM, Patience, Estranged & (maybe) Nightrain because I'd be surprised if even casual fans hadn't heard these. Otherwise, it would be exactly those. 1. Nightrain 2. You Could be Mine 3. Civil War 4. Patience
  3. Couldn't agree more. I haven't heard an Atmos mix that improves any song. They're kind of novelties to listen to, but I haven't found any that I prefer over OG or other alternative mixes.
  4. I have a SD2, a TS9 and a TS808 - such a hard choice to pick the 'best'! Oh man - this is going to be killer!! The Pusher!! Crossroads!! Cannot wait for this. Would love to hear Slash play Cocaine. Not sure who would do vocals.
  5. Yeah, I'm sure I saw an Ibanez TS in there. Yep, we'll have a Slash Gibson 335 next, and likely an Epiphone version too. Personally, in terms of semi-acoustics, I love the Epi Sheraton's with the mini humbuckers.
  6. It's attitudes like that which prevented these women from coming forward at the time of the incident.
  7. Shelia was likely told not to use the word rape, or the publishers edited it, unless she brought a legal case because it would otherwise be potentially libellous.
  8. What a piece of shit. Who talks like that on an open forum. Gets all pissy because she didn't mention him by name. Kat referenced 'they' as in GNR - of which he's the manager. Surely that's good enough?! Speaks volumes of (alleged) behaviour if he's this petty...in public.
  9. It hasn't even got to court yet. If it gets there, it'll likely mean there is substantial evidence. I'd suggest that people won't be talking about it too openly as it could affect the trial (should there be one).
  10. Very, very true - GNR only has a handful of albums and really only one or two that most casual fans are aware of.
  11. He lived very comfortably on royalties and then reunited with Slash when he knew he was on fumes - I think his luckiest period was managing to (mostly) sell out arenas with DJ in tow and Vegas. Given the demand for nostalgia acts (and sadly this is what GNR is now) and grown ups with lots of spare cash wanting to relive their youth - it's huge business. Definitely lucky, but he timed it right for the gravy train - I think for us fans, we're just a little disappointed that it came late for Axl's voice and it was at the sacrifice of CD II and maybe even III. There are perhaps a handful of bands could have done the same without releases, but I'm not sure any would have the same pull as Axl & Slash. Kiss being the obvious example.
