  1. Another new story of mine is now up: https://henrynsilva.blogspot.com/2024/04/the-sun-elixir-henry-n.html?m=1
  2. Daisy Ridley says she’s gonna read the script for her next Star Wars movie is about a month from now, so I guess the script is done (or close to it).
  3. The Superman reboot is just called Superman now (unfortunately). Also, slightly off-topic, but the Joker 2 trailer just dropped, and I have a new theory about it: what if when we first meet Harley she seems like just another patient, but then we find out at the end that it was joker who corrupted her in the first place all along? (Like in the comics)
  4. last night I had a dream where I could kinda tell I was in a dream but wasn’t 100% sure so I was like “maybe if I go on the internet I’ll see something so ridiculous that it’ll confirm I’m in a dream,” and it worked (I saw a post saying that Izzy was rejoining GnR)

  5. Would be funny if this ends up coming out around the same time as the UFO cover that Axl and Slash also apparently recorded.
  6. Saw The Orwells a few nights ago. Great show! Got to also hang out with the band before and after the gig for a bit. They were really nice. I know they’ve made mistakes in the past, but they seem to have grown a lot now. Seeing Green Day and the Pumpkins in August, and then Weezer in September. Might also see Metallica and Pantera in august too, but that one isn’t set in stone for me just yet.
  7. Sucks to hear that he has health issues. Hope things are better for him going forward. This band is cursed when it comes to lead singers, man… Lzzy Hale is awesome tho. Glad they got her.
  8. Looks good. I enjoyed the 2022 Batman film a lot. So more of that universe is always a welcome for me. The movie ended with penguin replacing falcone as the head of the mafia, so it’ll be interesting to see how this show follows through with that.
  9. 1.Mr. Brownstone 2.Out Ta Get Me 3.Estranged 4.Coma
  10. Supposedly jackson was difficult to work with, according to slash.
  11. I’ve never read any of the source material, but I did skim through the plots of all 8 main books on Wikipedia, and also watched the previous adaptations from 1984 (including the 1988 extended cut) and 2000 (including the sequel from 2003). That said, this new 2021/2024 two-parter version blows all of those out of the water. Some of the best cinema ever, as far as I’m concerned. A lot of changes made from the book, but they’re all for the best. If you want to see a book-accurate version though, check out the 2000 miniseries. It looks like shit and the acting is terrible, but it’s the most accurate adaptation. Avoid the Lynch version (either cut) unless you like Lynch. If you don’t care about book-accuracy though and just want a good movie, then just stick to this new stuff. I’m personally really excited about the adaptation of the next book, Dune Messiah. Not sure how they’re gonna adapt anything after that, though (if they even do). The books get REALLY weird after Messiah. There’s also a prequel show about the origin of the Bene Gesirit sisterhood coming out later this year. Looking forward to that too!
  12. Might go see Weezer later this year
  13. It definitely comes with extra hair now. He’s been balding since VR.
  14. Slash just played with Ryan Gosling at the Oscar’s (had a feeling he would). Wolf Van Halen was there too.
  15. Compiling those old demos of mine has inspired me to make some more new music: https://nunohenrysilva.bandcamp.com/album/the-orange-e-p @CosmoFYI in case you’re still interested.
  16. Apparently this comes from the Australian iTunes Store: Slash’s Orgy of the Damned out May 17th 1. The Pusher (feat. Chris Robinson) 2. Crossroads (feat. Gary Clark Jr.) 3. Hoochie Coochie Man (feat. Billy Gibbons) 4. Oh Well (feat. Chris Stapleton) 5. Key to the Highway (feat. Dorothy) 6. Awful Dream (feat. Iggy Pop) 7. Born Under a Bad Sign (feat. Paul Rodgers) 8. Papa Was a Rolling Stone (feat. Demi Lovato) 9. Killing Floor (feat. Brian Johnson) 10. Living for the City (feat. Tash Neal) 11. Stormy Day (feat. Beth Hart) 12. Metal Chesnut “Killing Floor” is the first single. Must be awkward for Axl to see Slash collab with the guy he replaced in acdc lol.
  17. I just released another album of old demos I had lying around (a "sequel" to my album from last month): https://nunohenrysilva.bandcamp.com/album/scrapbook-ii @Cosmo figured I’d tag you since you enjoyed my last release ^^^
