  1. As much as we all wish it wasn’t so, it appears the only real creative outlet for Duff and Slash are to release their own albums outside of Guns. Sure, they worked on some old songs that were previously recorded by another band, and I sincerely hope we get a compilation album with some more unheard tracks. But they didn’t create those songs. The next album Duff puts out will consist of songs he recorded or updated during the lockdown specifically for his own solo projects.
  2. Did brain or anyone else from GnR confirm when the This I Love remix vocals were done?
  3. Agreed, although to hear some on here Axl has been continually creating multiple masterpieces in total private that he may or may not share with his fans
  4. Steven was fired, changing the sound Axl took over some production duties and added a bunch of worthless overdubs Izzy left during the tour
  5. I think you might be missing his point, as Atlas wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the lead up to your comment. Other than Hard Skool, the recent releases all feel incomplete due to repetitive and lazy lyrics in addition to some questionable production and mixing choices. They definitely feel like leftovers to me, even though I do really like Perhaps. If Perhaps was done during the Illusions I imagine someone would have assisted Axl with writing another verse or pushing him for another one before releasing it as is, but that’s just wishful thinking. However, I do think the fact that we have Atlas and especially Monsters lends credibility to there being more of the so-called A list songs. I’m really interested in hearing a completed Oklahoma/Berlin, being that it was originally written by Axl.
  6. Not one of those guys was ever THE lead guitarist for a single concert with Guns, so @Tom2112 is correct. You listed two rhythm guitarists, and then four who were co-leads.
  7. I imagine that any financial discussions regarding the reunion began with the old partnership between the three. That would be easier than trying to start negotiations all over again from scratch. And yes, the reunion has given us the pretty awesome box sets. The Ritz Blu Ray is my favorite GnR release since the Illusions came out.
  8. But, but, they could get Buckethead back and release the ultimate CD leftovers and tour the world again! in bowling alleys…
  9. Cocaine and ProTools are a helluva drug
  10. I get what you’re trying to do here, but it’s really pointless to engage with people who are lapping at Axl’s nuts. It’s like trying to get a MAGA chump to act like a human being with compassion for others.
  11. You misunderstand me. I mean the lyrics on CD were fleshed out and feel complete, unlike the recent singles I listed.
