About Me

Im a huge GN'R fan. Ive been a fan since I first heard Welcome To The Jungle being played on TV during a football game. The first opening notes of that song, I soon to became addicted. I first got myself introduced to the band around 2000. So yes, I am a young GN'R fan compared to other long time fans. I loved the original line up, have alot of audio and video bootlegs of the shows. But when 2001 came and I saw Rock In Rio 3, I was pretty hooked. Even though the performance of Axl, vocal wise was less to be desired compared to what I was use to hearing, the new look and sound of the band intrigued me. It essence, it was a new band, a bit of a new sound and a singer; like most singers who take long breaks, reinvents himself, but doesn't fade away from what he use to be.

2002 came and the surprise vma performance of GN'R has me excited like a little kid on Christmas morning. Again, Axl's vocals were not that great, but the energy was there and the crowd was feeling it. So pretty much from 2001-present times. I've fallen in love with the new band, between the old original line to the different line ups thru the 2000s. I own pretty much every known/available bootleg of the 2002 tour, which sadly I missed due to financial reasons. But least I have the memories of the form members and the bootlegs to go by.

Update 2016. I've been a member of the forum for a very long time but never felt the need to post or comment that much. Still browsed over the years as guest and just all around forgot my username.  Still love the Nugnr for simply the masterpiece that is Chinese Democracy. That album has gotten me through some rough times since it's release. I know some people hate the album,  some like it, some say it's not Guns. To me, if you look at the spine of the CD case, it says Guns N'Roses. Not Axl Rose and friends.

Over the years, each time the band has came to my area, I've always missed out to either finding out late or financial problems. On July 19 and 20th. I finally lived out my dream and saw Guns N'Roses live and on top of that, I witnessed magic happen seeing the band I grew up idolizing, listened to nonstop, a band whose music has gotten me through some of the roughest times in my life,  play right in front of me. I'll never forget those nights for as long as I live.
