I can attest that almost two-thirds of the radio promo singles we receive in each week do have a blue back, I'm guessing because those cd-r's are cheaper and quicker to turn around. I can take a picture of a stack of promo singles from other artist's with blue backs if that will shut you naysayers up.You ever work on getting the other one? CoBrA2168 Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 I won't know till next week if I can snag the second copy of the promo from the station, because they're using it this coming Monday night at 8 pm Eastern time for a thing called " Rate At 8", where every week night at 8 PM they debut a new rock song and ask listeners to call in in and tell us whether to keep playing it or stop playing. If you guys want to listen online Monday night you can at www.wnrn.org. The numbers are also on the website so if you guys can call in and voice your support to keep playing the song, there is a toll free number so it won't cost a thing.That sounds interesting. I'd guess that selling it is probably breaking the copyright laws, but in this case I doubt anyone in GNR gives a toss as it's not available for purchase.
