Does he really think the tours he's been involved in the last "20 years" have been that much more than nostalgia? Like he's sort of criticising the bashing of this tour as nostalgia tour and cash grab? In all honesty, though, he went much too far with what he says about the fans. I admit to having alterior motives - one of his cousins is a good friend of mine. LOL Sadly, I didn't meet her until well after the UYI days. As far as Pittman, LOL. He is an epic hooray for tolerance and it would be impossible for me to give any less of a shit about the opinions of a hired hand who was just playing covers for 20 years. In fact, no one outside of us GNR diehards has a clue who he is. He is just another expendable warm body in the music scene. His over inflated sense of self would be comical if it wasn't so childish.
