KBear
Over the next few weeks I'm planning to listen to these albums for the first time:Dire Straits - Dire StraitsDire Straits - Brothers In ArmsPink Floyd - DSOTMThe Verve - Urban HymnsSaw these mentioned here (well, who doesn't know about Dire Straits and Pink Floyd, that's no revelation...but I never really knew that the Verve was so highly regarded), so I'm looking forward to them. Most of them I bought a while ago for a song or two that I really liked but just haven't listened to them all the way through. I used to do that a lot (with books to, bought but didn't read), and now I've got a whole shitload of stuff to listen to!And I've also got a couple of L.A. Guns CDs coming to me soon from Amazon. Can't wait, hope that's a killer band. rock1 Heard good things, but most of these hair metal bands that I've listened to lately have only a few good songs and a lot of mediocre ones (Skid Row, Poison, Motley Crue...although the Crue are the best of that bunch). Anyways...
there is no dana only zool
hair of the dog - nazarethplastic green head - troubleboth bands have singers that sound very similar to axl. nazareth is more of a classic rock- well, you guys know nazareth.trouble is a more obscure band, but also very classic sounding... guitars are heavier though... i hate the term but "stoner rock." awesome. download "the eye" by these guys. dissapointment-free shit.
