The real question is how did he sound His voice has been suspect lately I want to go see Soundgarden in Toronto but if Cornell sounds like shit it will ruin the whole experience.

It was good. Soundgarden should be awesome. I felt like he was holding back though. He didn't really air it out that much. In his defense it was an acoustic show. Here's some vids from last night.

Awesome!

I saw the Austin show - he did a trippy version of Ticket to Ride....seems to still be threading in some Beatles!

He also had a red phone on a stool the whole time. It never rang or was included in the show. I still wonder what that was about (maybe THAT was the point).

Did you capture Mind Riot on video?

What did you think of William Elliott Whitmore (assuming he's still the opener)?

I didn't film any of it myself, but here's Mind Riot

They didn't let the opening act into the country. I assume it was the guy you mentioned.

I guess the "Bat Phone" was just a prop. It never rang at my show either.

Nice! Lucky, dude!

How was When I'm Down? One of my favorites.

I'd never heard that song before. It was good though. A nice little jazzy number.
