axlskAmpf
Something like this being said at the end:Vunter sloush kapu-sh-kuh,shpealer in mein shoon-ska,het vaait axl rose-ia,danka vunter slaush-a.Anyone recognizes the language?Kapushka is a river in Russia, as well as the name of a Russian spy ship, so I'd go Russin/Ukranian. sweetness
Say what you want about South Park but I think they're doing a pretty damn good job of keeping it as fresh as it can be after 14 or whatever seasons. That was the funniest episode since George Lucas and Steven Spielberg raped Indiana Jones.I wonder what Slash thought of it
sturginho
I think the words to the song are like so:Wunter Slaush ka Pushka Spieler in mein SchushkaHeadline axl rosaDanke wunter slausha
Talvisota
I think the words to the song are like so:Wunter Slaush ka Pushka Spieler in mein SchushkaHeadline axl rosaDanke wunter slaushaIt's supposed to be German I guess. I can't understand it though. The kids sing it also with a big American accent, so I figure the South Park guys just created a "language" that sounds similar to German but has no meaning.EDIT: Okay watched the episode, it's obviously supposed to be dutch. MB.
It's a Dutch Christmas song and I should know how it translates, but I'll have to ask Mom. Edit: okay English translation of the original: Nicholas I beg of youDrop into my little shoeSomething sweet or sweeter,Thank you, Saint and Peter!Almost word for word it's:St. Nicolaas kapoentje Throw something in my shoe Bring something in my boothThank you St. NicolaasIn dutch:Sinterklaas kapoentjeGooi wat in mijn schoentjeBreng wat in mijn laarsjeDank u SinterklaasjeSinterklaas is the dutch Santa Claus ( which we don't really have)We celebrate his birthday at 5 december, and than 'he' gives presents to children.A few weeks before the 5th and a few times a week, children can put their shoe infront of window or fireplace at night and they have to sing songs like this for 'him'. Only than in the morning the find some sweets or a little present in it. Got 3 kids, and every year it is a lot of work , but fun too.The song melody in SP is right, but the words are invented and are not in dutch, don't even sound like it.A lot of the time, US tv-shows, make dutch sound like German or Swedish. But funny to hear that childrens song in it. It was a very funny episode Edited June 7, 2011 by MBRose
Crash Diet
Trey and Matt are Primus fans ( Les Claypool is the voice of the South Park theme too ) so there's no wonder why they'd praise Buckethead. Btw, it's surprising that they didn't make an episode on Chinese Democracy failing ( Cartman would have been a fan "HEY GUYS, have you heard the new Guns n' Roses cd ? Oh man, it totally kicks ass ! " Kyle "No it doesn't fat ass". "YES IT DOES !" and then Axl would publicly diss Cartman at a show and Cartman would suddenly change his opinion and go on a personal vendetta against GnR. Gonna watch that Episode tonight.fuckyeah, great idea also Kyle is ginger, so what if Kyle=Axl scenario? anyway here is that scene: http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/387410/slash-aint-real
