Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators 2012 Tour Dates

96 posts in this topic

I went to Slash's show in Manchester last night and I had a great time.

Ginger Wildheart had a lot of energy and I almost caught a free t-shirt.

I really enjoyed Slash's set. Myles left the stage for four songs so maybe he is still under the weather.

Regardless everybody involved looked to be having a great time.

I was on the second row and I found it hard to breathe at times.

I met Slash afterwards and he signed my Apocalyptic Love booklet.

How many songs did they play in Edinburgh?

Although I did get an email saying the band would play for approximately two hours. The show finished at 10:50pm.

My highlights were; Just Like Anything, Todd's four song block, No More Heroes and Anastasia.

Manchester gig last night was great. I was pretty far back this time, normally I go right up to the front barrier but I couldn't be arsed with all the pushing and shoving this time around. It was nice to come out dry, having not been drenched in sweat or piss for once. I found the sound much better from further back as well. Couldn't wait around to meet Slash again either as we had to catch the last train. Had a great time though. :)

Edinburgh show (courtesy of setlist.fm):

Halo

Nightrain

Ghost

Standing in the Sun

Back From Cali

Mr. Brownstone

Been There Lately

Rocket Queen

No More Heroes

Bad Rain

We're All Gonna Die

You're Crazy

Out Ta Get Me

Doctor Alibi

Blues Jam / Guitar Solo

Anastasia

You're a Lie

Sweet Child O' Mine

Slither

Encore:

Fall to Pieces

Paradise City

Awesome show, took until halfway through second to song to start to hear Myles (guessing that was sound issues rather than his voice!) but clearly he's still recovering, as he was away for a 4 song spell (which was awesome however!), and no Starlight. Kinda was hoping this would've meant Welcome to the Jungle in the encore (as heard Fall to Pieces last time I saw 'em in 2010) but not this time! Loved Nightrain, Been There Lately and Anastasia. Great gig, awesome atmosphere!

Went to the Birmingham show last night - great show - I enjoyed it as much as GNR earlier this year!

Highlight was the middle section with Todd singing - he was great and the crowd really got into the fast rockers - especially You're Crazy and OTGM!

Miles sounded good - but his crowd interaction wasn't great but he did a good job!

Classic Wildies tune with the outro slightly altered as tribute to Mr Kerns who joins Ginger and co onstage!

Both Slash and GNR could be changed name of their tour to 'Appetite for money".

Ok i think it would be nice Slash tour with accoustic show or increase with more AL´s songs
