tat2d1
I know there are some fans of the band Queen around here. A friend of mine had me check out this band, Foxy Shazam. They are obviously very Queen influenced. Check 'em out, maybe some of you will dig what you hear....
ZoSoRose
They opened for the darkness here in Detroit. They were great and I got home hang out with them after the gig. Great bunch of guys

Great bunch of guys I've heard they put on a great show. I will definitely check them out if they come around my area. I'm pretty sure Justin Hawkins produced their latest album. The Sandman
Opened for the Darkness here too - wasn't too bad. I'd check them out again at some point - just too eccentric for my liking
Stiff Competition
They are fantastic. I just saw them open for TD in Vegas and Hollywood and just bought tickets to see them headline in Hollywood in April. They are a completely different beast live versus the studio, though. Death Star
Saw them many many years ago and they were pretty cool! Got to hang out with them afterwards.
Black Sabbath
I like a good handful of songs by them. I kind of regret not seeing them and The Darkness on the recent tour when they came around.I was kind of put off by the lead singer though when I watched a live video of him explaining how (and for all I know it isn't true, but still) some little dog bit his song while they were out and he like smashed the dog into the pavement True or not, I wasn't a fan of the story, and I believe that was my deciding factor towards not going to the show. But, maybe I'll catch them next time, and same goes for The Darkness.
luciusfunk
I've been listening to their self titled album and The Church of Rock and Roll every night at work for the last two weeks. I love them.
Gordon Comstock
I'm resurrecting this thread. I've been listening to the s/t album a lot again lately and fuck, how good are these songs!? So glad I got to see these guys. I even met them all after the show I saw on the Gonzo tour, which was an awesome show but they were obviously burning out (they had to cross the border and drive all night to the next show too). The show I saw on the Church Of RNR tour was one of the best I've ever seen.
Black Sabbath
I liked the older stuff I listened to before but didn't care for the last album. Wish I would have gotten to see them though.

They are obviously very Queen influenced. Check 'em out, maybe some of you will dig what you hear....According to an interview I saw, they're not very influenced by Queen at all. I downloaded their first two albums (yet to listen to them). I didn't like Gonzo too much, but Tragic Thrill is good. Eric Nally is in the new Macklemore song, Downtown. ZoSoRose
Ended up seeing them 3 times in 2012. Once on their own, once with Slash, and once with the darkness. Their last album sucked, but I wish they continued
