Rush to release Clockwork Angels on June 12

"Rush will return this summer with "Clockwork Angels," the iconic prog-rock band revealed on Wednesday. The new album, due June 12, will be the trio's first studio effort since 2007's "Snakes & Arrows" and their debut for Anthem/Roadrunner Records." (Link to Billboard article)

That's a lot heavier than I expected. Snakes and Arrows was a great album, I can't wait to hear this one (Weirdly enough, Snakes and Arrows is the only Rush album I've ever really gotten into...older stuff doesn't really do it for me. I'm probably the only one).

Not really. I listened to their albums from the 70's like 2112, it didn't do it for me either.

I'm doing Washington DC and Buffalo, nice! :D

I'm just seeing all my favorite bands multiple times this year; Iron Maiden x 12 (Maybe 13), Alice Cooper x 9 (Maybe 10), Van Halen x 4, Guns N' Roses x 2, and Rush x 2. Might not be the most concerts I've done in one year (I think my record is 33 or so, including free shows, comp tickets, etc.), but this is definitely shaping up to be my best concert year!

EDIT: Scratch that, just doing Buffalo. My roommate isn't good for the DC date, and I'm not driving 5 hours each way alone :P
