Haven't heard it for a while and it came on as I was awaiting the train this morning. Fuck me what a great tune. Superb lyrics and Slash's guitar playing is something else.

Not the best of theirs IMO, but amazing song nonetheless! And yeah, after Fall to Pieces, it's their second best ballad/slow song.

My favourite VR song.

Can't believe it was relegated to bonus track status, when it's stronger than everything on Libertad.

Madness. Utter madness.

Messages and Fall to Pieces are the only spectacular songs in VR's catalogue, in my opinion, although the other songs are excellent, too.

In regards to Slash, I read a desperate fan's message about, what if one of us were to die and looking back I had the possibility of a reunion now, blah blah blah. And my thoughts are, "Yeah, and while you're at the show your baby accidentally kicks a candle and burns your house down, killing himself and the rest of your family."

It really is great. It's probably the most guitarist of GNR meets singer of STP track that they put together.

Favourite song from VR, but I also really like Loving the Alien and Fall to Pieces. Also, the combo with Madagascar is purely amazing.
2010 - GNR @Belgrade
2010 - Iron Maiden @Cluj-Napoca
2011 - Scorpions @Cluj-Napoca
2012 - GNR @Bucharest

I would have rather had this track on my copy of Libertad instead of Can't Get You Out of My Head or Spay.
Hey everybody! Happy New Year and best wishes for 2013.

This is certainly one of their best tunes, again, it's a bit of a poor show this was only a "bonus track" - it should have easily made the "Libertad" track list.
It's certainly got the real mix of GNR & STP in it IMO

Maybe it just sounded too Stone Temple Pilotish, so they kept it off, but of course Gravedancer does too, and it made it.

Maybe I'll Drop a Dime and call someone who knows and find out for sure.

Decent song but I was not bothered that it was left off Libertad.

Easily one of their best songs.

Easily one of the best things Slash has produced ever.
G'n'R = Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff and Adler. Anything else is Green label at best.

I don't think so, VR was not a ballads, sensitive band. Their best track is Slither.

Messages, Slither, and Lovin the Alien are my favorite tracks by them. Loving the Alien is probably my favorite. Scotts vocals are superb on that and Slash's solo is beautiful. I love the tone.

It's one of VR's best songs, easily.
