Vincent Vega
Does anyone else really love "Good to be Alive"? I think it's one of the best songs on that record...It's so catchy and the melodies are good and the main riff and the groove Slash and Matt have in terms of guitar/drums is awesome. It reminds me a lot of Aerosmith.
dario27
is definitely one of the best ones, but for me Dime Store Rock or Neither Can I are better
moreblack
It's not the best song on the album.
FuddMckagan
Back And Forth Again is the best
Nosaj Thing
I love "Be The Ball". Just amazing. I do consider that album as the best work of Slash post-Gn'R.

Bards
I enjoy the song, but for me "What Do You Want to Be" tops it.

gunsfanoldie
I enjoy the song, but for me "What Do You Want to Be" tops it.My thoughts exactly. My favorite songs are the first three and What Do You Want To Be, but I think What Do You Want To Be is easily the most powerful rocker on there. Ain't Life Grand, on the other hand, is a flawless album IMO. So many powerful tracks on there.
blackrose87
Gotta be "Doin Fine" for me. And as said earlier definitely Slash's best non-GNR work. Edited August 2, 2012 by blackrose87
