Tyler Drama
Details? I've heard things about it but never actually got the full story. I wasn't around much at the time.

Damn_Smooth
Three of the posters are in this thread Just so happens that you would have to be a moron for finding entertainment in that, and an even bigger moron to ban someone for that. Black Sabbath
Three of the posters are in this thread Just so happens that you would have to be a moron for finding entertainment in that, and an even bigger moron to ban someone for that. There was a bit more to the backstory of the origin of the phrase "lol bumblefoot". After it started, we some users started to spam some threads with it and madison quickly banned some them without hesitation, regardless of whether or not the member had a clean slate or not. AbominableHoman
Fucking bonkers, really. I wasn't that hardcore about it. I said it once and backed off after being warned.

Guest Satanisk_Slakt
It was interesting at the very least. Seeing Madison be so mad about something so small and seeing lots of big posters banned in one day over something so insignificant. It must have been the days before her period. highvoltage
Hey guys, please go easy on the "madison bashing". You can talk about the incident, but refrain from making personal insults about her, thanks.
Tater Totts
She really did have a problem with the phrase, I got banned for even explaining what it was to someone in a thread without any warning ad it was my first offense.

KetchupNotMayo
I think originally the posters in question were only suspended, but when one or two rejoined under alternative names during the suspension, madison swung the ban hammer in every direction and the lot of 'em were banned. Not the funniest thing that ever happened on the forum, but no way was it a ban-worthy offence considering some of the crap people have gotten away with over the years. Dan H.
The only thing funny was Madison's overreaction. Most of us just posted the phrase once and were suspended then perma-banned shortly after.
Nobodys_Fault
I think originally the posters in question were only suspended, but when one or two rejoined under alternative names during the suspension, madison swung the ban hammer in every direction and the lot of 'em were banned. It was originally supposed to be a week suspension or something but then Maddy claimed people rejoined under alt accounts and spammed the board (nobody did) and refused to lift it. My other account is still perma-suspended.I think it was kevin that got the original suspension for it and then the rest of us posted it as an act of solidarity. I think we also just wanted to see if Madison was wielding the banhammer over something so stupid.
Moop
Allow me to go more in depth on what happened...Someone (I can't remember who, it might have been kevin) got a suspension for saying "lol bumblefoot" in some thread. Some of the members thought the reason for this suspension was ridiculous. We were literally laughing at how stupid it was. So, it became a little joke to say "lol bumblefoot" every now and then (iirc, most of it wasn't spammed. Although, a couple members did). This was considered the utmost disrespectful thing ANYONE could do, in Madisons eyes. So there was a mass banning from madison (kind of like a genocide.... a banocide, if you will) to all these members that even uttered the phrase once. It didn't even just have to be that phrase alone in a post... if that phrase was even said in the middle of some post, it was considered spamming. I even still have one of the PM's from madison from the incident in my box:<!--quoteo(post=2104073:date=Jul 22 2008, 11:45 AM:name=kevin)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (kevin @ Jul 22 2008, 11:45 AM) <a href="index.php?act=findpost&pid=2104073"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Seriously <img src="http://www.mygnrforum.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />. 5 or so people get banned for saying "lol bumblefoot" but one of the most obvious adbots in recent times beats the system. We need to find his secret<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->Kevin, Moop, kevdo242:I guess the three of you didn't learn a thing from several of your pals being permanently suspended from the forum. Keep it up - and the three of you will be joining them. We don't tolerate spammers. And if you're not happy with the forum's rules, nobody is putting a gun to your heads forcing you to stay. We don't tolerate spammers posting nonsense off-topic posts in the middle of threads to protest their pals being banned. Consider this your one - and only - warning. MadisonAs you can see, kevins post that maddie quoted wasn't exactly spam. It was a legit complaint. After this warning, I don't think I mentioned "lol bumblefoot" at all, yet I still returned to my account being banned, and a reason was not given why. Iirc, I think kevdo was banned as well, but I could be wrong.Wasn't exactly "legendary" or anything. Just hilarious at the audacity of it all. I mean, the skype crew and others go on about some people on here taking the forum too seriously.... no one will ever take it as seriously as madison.PS. to highvoltage: Don't misinterpret anything I say in this as an insult to madison. Just using this as a disclaimer.
