HisRoyalSweetness Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 you all say cash grab like it's a bad thing. if cash grabbing means they play all the hits and skip the new stuff, i'm all for cash grabbing. in fact, i wish he'd grab some more cash and play the old hits with the old band. but, you know, axl's integrity is so very important to him that he could only consider becoming a nostalgia casino band on the condition that it's technically a tribute act. but at least one of the replacements is wearing a top hat and playing a les paul. all things considered, this is the best gnr's been in years for me. maybe since the breakup. I gueds we can kiss Civil War and Estranged goodbye The worst part is, Estranged and Civil War (or any other two songs) will be knocked off in favor of "Anything Goes" and "Think About You". Christ. Easily two of gnr's worst.But as far as playing the whole album in general I get it, it's a cool idea in spirit. However if they play other songs, and estranged and civil war are sacrificed to solo spots... ... I mean I probably won't care that much, doesn't affect my day to day.
