I swear everytime I go to a concert, I'm a magnet for stupid drunks! I hope this time it's different or there's going to be a HUGE problem for whoever the fuck thinks they're gonna bother me.

I'm so sick of stupid drunk or high jerks bothering the real fans at concerts.

I'm always on my guard anyway, but I swear I'm so sick of it, I just might lose it big time at this show.

I"m had words with so many stupid jerks and as little as I am, I will kick their ass. What stops me is that I know my son and daughter will get involved and I don't want that.

I hope that this concert goes well. The last GNR show we were fine but there were four of us and I was in the middle of the pack. lol

My son is gonna be in the pit, but I know he can take care of himself. It'll be my daughter and I in seats and I bet there will be at least one drunk jerk in our way.

the hard rock better have good security for fans and of course Axl and the band. So sick of jerks throwing shit at the band and expecting them to just take it!

I hear you! When I took my wife to Sturgis, stupid fn drunk kept bothering her view . He kept bumping into her. Vegas last week, we were sitting in the balcony. A fn drunk right sitting right in front of us bothering a lot of people. I put those assholes in their place! Their is only so much u can do to a fn piece of shit drunk! Have fun at the concert!

CW is ballady because it's pretty long, serious, and emotionally exhausting. Use those sparingly, especially in Vegas, and especially when you're already playing NR, SOD, TWAT, CITR, etc. One of my favorites, though. I think the Garden and Dont Damn Me would be nice additions.

UF Axl can't get the words to Twat out witout running out of breath then he definitely can't spit out Don't Damn Me.

If he gets into '10 shape, then maybe Dont Damn Me isnt unimaginable. Go back to the o2 gig with Duff in '10 and I think Dont Damn Me would've been great in that set on that night.

Dont Damn Me is an interesting idea because it's seemingly Mickey-proof. I dont think he could yelp and drown his way through Dont Damn Me. I love Axl.

Glad to know that I'm not alone in thinking that Don't damn me would be a great addition to the setlist, especially considering Axl's current mickey-mouse vocals.

You guys are funny. There's a reason why Don't Damn Me has never been played live. That's the hardest song to sing in the entire GnR catalog. Not because Axl can't hit the notes, but because of the speed of the song. It makes it impossible to catch a breath while singing it.

They managed to play Coma a few times.

The more songs they play from CD the happier I am. I'm just sorry they weren't playing them the shows I saw them recently...

I agree. I love CD and am glad Axl is getting more and more comfortable playing songs live. I think that since Axl and GNR are doing much of CD maybe after this tour they will be able to write and record new music.

I think Axl has so much talent and he will write more great songs again. Axl seems happy and content with this band, so it just makes sense to continue with them and writing and recording should be the next important step.

Not to mention they did Garden of Eden, which I would imagine is a contender for hardest to sing breath-wise. No fucking way he's doing that one, even though I love that song.

thx for the vid of RQ. RQ is how I know what kinda condition Axl is in. (Apparently he doesnt know the lyrics.) Still better than '11 and UCAP. He's in better shape, but lacks power in his voice.

YCBM & RQ should be dumped from the current setlist among others, cause they're songs that do Axl's current voice no favours...

He should replace them with others from UYI a bit more 'mickey' voice proof like Double Talkin Jive and Bad Obsession.

My buddies and I flew out to Vegas this weekend and went to the Saturday night show. I've been to like 10 GnR shows, all in the NYC area previously. I'll give the band credit. They really brought it. 3 plus hours. Lot of intensity. Sounded really good, although if I'm being totally honest Axl sounded better as the concert went on. November Rain from the suspended piano 8' above my head was just ridiculous.

At the end of the show Axl tosses the mic into the crowd like he always does. Every single show I have ever been to it has been my dream to grab it. It lands like 10 feet away from my friend and I. The guy standing next to us picks it up and my buddy immediatly says "I'll give you $100 for that right now." Amazingly the guy says '"Sure". He gives it to us. We have the fucking thing. We are jubiliant. We are extatic. 5 seconds later security walks over and orders us to give him the mic back.

I have seen Axl toss the mic at EVERY show I have been to, and I have never seen security ask for it back. Complete and utter fucking bullshit.

Why throw the fucking thing into the crowd and cause a goddamn riot if you are just gonna ask for it back? Forget about the thing breaking or getting stepped on. The guy gave us our $100 back, but it ruined what would have been the single greatest concert experience of my life.

Here's the bottom line, at least from my perspective. If Axl wants to come out at midnight and play until 3AM, that's fine by me. That's how rock n' roll is supposed to be. The hardcore sawdust and beer, late as fuck, rock music culture that I love and is one of the core reasons why I love Axl and GnR. Basically maintaining that image is the only thing he apparently DOES give a fuck about. It what Axl prides himself on.

You can't have it both ways though. It's either balls to the wall rock n' roll, or it's corporate money making. Throwing a mic into a crowd at 3AM, only to ask for it back is basically 180 degrees from what Axl and GnR stand for.

I understand Axl may not know they are confiscating the mic after he tosses it, but he should. It's his image and good name they are fucking with when pull this shit with his biggest fans.

Fuck you The Joint/Hard Rock.

Than you should let him know this. Just mail it on fb, twitter and so on.

Maybe Ron and DJ as well, since they actually read, what is posted.

I do not use any social media outlets, but I would, from the absolute bottom of my heart appreciate it anyone here could do this for me.

Forget me. My friend who had the thing in his hand is the biggest GnR fan I know. Since the day I have known him we have joked/dreamed about how sick it would be to catch the mic at a GnR show. Then it happens, and at a Saturday Night Show in Vegas no less, and we have it taken away from us.

I think I may start a seperate thread asking for help.

I give you all my word. This is 100% preciesely what went down.
