downzy
Not complaining cause I love Rosie but is that a setlist record for gnr for the most covers played, including kohd, live n let die, don't let it, etcIf you include Dizzy's solo (No Quarter) but exclude Glad to Be Here (since it is an original BBF song), I think you get a total of eight covers. I wonder what the most number of covers were played during the UYI days?Interesting that they dropped Civil War. Though the structure of the overall set seems to remain relatively stable, at least they're switching in and out some songs. There seems to be some differences between week one and week two. I wonder if week three will see more changes. If I had to guess I'd say that we'll see CD songs being switched in and out. Eu4ic
Cool they played Rosie - always a great gauge of where Axl is in terms of endurance, preparation, and rasp. Can't wait to hear it. Also played CITR and TWAT. Next comes Nice Boys. And then a new song.

username
Great set, again! But I'm still waiting for that new thing. That one spark of progress and moving forward. These shows are ace, but there not...new. They're more of the same.
Cosmo
Hey, they're playing Catcher and TWAT. Way better than I expect this to be.
Sprite
Just got back to my hotel room. Met axl bumblefoot And his wife Del James and jarmo. saw Richard and dizzy walking. Axl came out with a big group of people.. let us take a picture. I think he was surprised there was people waiting to see him 2 hours after the concert
ChristianGNR
Axl's cant sing anymore. That's sad. And it's sad to me to say that also.edit: it's not a question about clean/rasp voice. It's a matter of power, he doesn't have it right now. Time to stop the tour and do some job in recovering his voice. Edited November 11, 2012 by ChrisMaciel

Imagine spending the night bowling with Axl Great you met him & look forward to seeing the photo, he shouldn't be surprised though as people have waited hours to meet him after other shows. Well done, how was Bumble?
Sprite
Bumblefoot was awesome. Extremely friendly. He answered one of my questions on here once and I ask him about it and he said he remembered it!! Del James was very nice too. Axl was nice but the crowd he was with wanted to rush him along... Bumble's Bridge Pickup
I'd not mind if CW was dropped, there's too many ballads in the set already to my taste

Guest NewGNRnOldGNR
From an old & new perspective there are few criticisms about the set. There are a wealth of the hits & two of the most iconic tracks from GN'R's latest album.

jimb0
I'd not mind if CW was dropped, there's too many ballads in the set already to my tasteYou consider CW a ballad? Personally I'd take it over CITR SOD or NR anyday. I didn't say This I love b/c Usually Axl takes risks on that or TWAT b/c I'd like to see them play that enough so that Axl can do it without losing breath. Eu4ic
CW is ballady because it's pretty long, serious, and emotionally exhausting. Use those sparingly, especially in Vegas, and especially when you're already playing NR, SOD, TWAT, CITR, etc. One of my favorites, though. I think the Garden and Dont Damn Me would be nice additions.
ChristmasFnatic
Somehow this thread got low post count compared to others. Were people turned off after the Boneyard radio?

Val22
I swear everytime I go to a concert, I'm a magnet for stupid drunks! I hope this time it's different or there's going to be a HUGE problem for whoever the fuck thinks they're gonna bother me.I'm so sick of stupid drunk or high jerks bothering the real fans at concerts.I'm always on my guard anyway, but I swear I'm so sick of it, I just might lose it big time at this show.I"m had words with so many stupid jerks and as little as I am, I will kick their ass. What stops me is that I know my son and daughter will get involved and I don't want that.I hope that this concert goes well. The last GNR show we were fine but there were four of us and I was in the middle of the pack. lolMy son is gonna be in the pit, but I know he can take care of himself. It'll be my daughter and I in seats and I bet there will be at least one drunk jerk in our way.the hard rock better have good security for fans and of course Axl and the band. So sick of jerks throwing shit at the band and expecting them to just take it!
