That really depends on how good the songs are, doesn't it?

I think that would be a wise move.

Izzy doesnt write bad songs ever. Its just whether they can be ramped up into GnR songs.

First side could be CD 2 second side some Axl n Izzy specials.

Ides Of March, Berlin, Atlas Shrugged, Oh My God, Silkworms , Down By The Ocean (Izzy), Soul Monster, Seven , The General , Thyme , Quick Song, Zodiac. You know you should believe!

If izzy wrote 6 songs for a new album it'd probably b a halfway decent release.

I think calling on past members to take part in the studio sessions could be a really good thing for all of them.

Izzy is the best song writer Guns N' Roses ever had. They were fucked when he left the band. With Izzy, writing with Slash and Axl was possible. After that the two just got greedy with their own material. Izzy can write something the current members can agree on.

It's definitely a great idea.

Writing songs is nowhere near the impossible task, however, that getting Axl to actually release them is.

"Baby-Rann" is a good tune. I like it more the more I listen to it.

The tandem of W. Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin is akin to many of the great collaborators in music history. Would it benefit the next album? Absolutely. You'd have to get someone else to play those songs live but his collaboration would be welcomed (by the fans at least).

That being said, I think the band would've been in an better place had Izzy stayed (even if Slash left anyway). I also somewhat doubt CD would've taken 17 years to be released.
