Won't come out.

Also, didn't Bumblefoot say nothing was filmed in Vegas?

No, he said they filmed in 3D there, but whether anything would come of it, he had no idea.

Um - does 3D even work on a standard-definition DVD?

Assuming it's not old-fashioned red/blue glasses 3D, doesn't it have to be HD/Blu-Ray?

Either it's unofficial info, translated info, or written by somebody who has no idea how to write in English.

It looks like a typo to me.

I think it's just a bad translation. DVD naturally didn't exist 20 years ago, but it was probably meant to read as "First concert home video in 20 years" which is accurate as the Tokyo release was filmed and released in 1992 and later DVD. If this is true and gets released, I imagine it'll receive a standard DVD release and then a 3D Blu-ray release, probably as a combo pack too with the standard DVD, standard Blu-ray, and then 3D Blu-ray.

Of course, we'll wait and see. Things can easily change.

why would anybody put out a 3D DVD in times of Full-HD and 3D tv´s ???? the 90´s were great, but I don´t miss the picture quality of good old PAL days

But I thought a couple of 2006 gigs were released on DVD, such as Rock in Rio Lisboa?

Well I guess we'll find out sooner or later if this is true or not.

It would be cool to have a new dvd of Axl and GNR now. I would love it to be a cd/dvd/blueray combo.

Maybe after the holidays something will be decided. I'm sure Axl will have to see the footage and sign off on it, unless the record company brass get involved, then we'll be waiting another 15 years for a decision to be made.

Yes, the show I saw in Vegas was awesome! Axl sounded amazing as did the rest of the band. The stage show was amazing too.

I really hope they release a dvd because I think it will show that this GNR is an amazing band and Axl chose well with these guys.

Also it will show all the haters, that Axl is still an amazing frontman and singer performer.

This band shouldn't worry about releasing release dates, they should just get shit on the shelves and then let us know!

Wouldn't have been an official DVD, just a proshot put onto DVD

It's better to realize some big show than show in front of 3000 people...For example it's better to relize today mumbai show in front of 50000 crazy indians than show on front of 3000 boring americans
