dalsh327 Posted December 29, 2012 Share Posted December 29, 2012 I've never seen a GNR tribute band, I don't know how many there are, but wondered for the ones who have, which ones were your favorites, and which ones weren't. What would be the tribute band so good, Axl would be looking for them to be members of nuGuns, or Slash bringing them in as a Conspirator or new VR member?(don't laugh, David Lee Roth hired tribute band members, and we can't forget Ripper Owens time in Judas Priest , and the singer from Boston who worked in a Home Depot). If they were horrible, feel free to include them , and the ones who were so bad they were funny, include them as well.Also mention the area they're from, that's also important, and include a link. If they want to discuss the band in this thread, great, and talk about what they've done to pay tribute to GNR. I'm sure there's always going to be new tribute bands popping up in coming years. If they're a tribute band doing it badly, the entertainment value's still there. Is there another Mini KISS or Iron Maidens, except they're a GNR tribute band. Would love to know. And Honestly I like it 10 times better than the origional. SO much more raw emotion, but beautiful lyrics by Axl. They should work together, that would be amazing. They had a sleazy old porn star on drums, that looked like he was gonna have a heart attack, a slutty girl who wore no bra and tryed to sing.
