KeyserSoze Posted March 14, 2013 Share Posted March 14, 2013 for those of you familiar with the show, right before live and let die, axl goes on a rant about how this is not the people you know and love etc etc, then goes on to introduce Paul Tobias and says that without paul, there would be no more GNR. Do you guys think this is true or maybe, infact axl could have taken Dizzy and gone and done something else? Was Tobias in fact the person who was Axls glue for this band? Sorry if someone brought this up allready. I was just really young when all this stuff was happening and Axl was trying to put his band back together. Most people's thoughts aren't recorded for posterity.He probably meant it at the time, it was probably coming from an emotional rather than a factual place. We get the last laugh though, because their site is totally dead, and they're the reason why (and well, let's be honest, who wants to be part of a forum where they make mods out of Arnold Layne and broskirose- *shudder*). In point of fact, they have actually organized mass trolling "operations" of this place. They have openly discussed it in publicly readable threads. Hell even their admin, john bonham, was one of the people who trolled Bumblefoot, resulting in Bumble never coming back here. Of course, in their book, that's some huge victory. They high-five eachother about shit like that, I'm not making this up, it's all there, publicly readable. So anyway, give it up iftheworld. Let this place become gunsnfroses 2.0. Let dizzyreedsexmachine repeat "fakeGnR sucks" over and over and over. He says it in almost every thread. Then he goes back to gnfnr to highfive all 10 people that post there.
