I'm an Android kinda guy myself.

That's why you're a big hooray for tolerance!

iOS :shrugs: even though iTunes can sometimes be a pain in the ass

Especially the newest version. Can't even fucking search what's on my device anymore, only what's in my library.

This is the phone I just got.

The salesman was trying to talk me into getting a windows phone. But they just seem to complicated. I love my current phone and company Sprint has been good to me. A lot better then T-Mobile was. I get discounts threw them cause I'm a speedy rewards club member.

LOVE my i5 and wouldn't trade it for anything. (except for the next one Apple rolls out) I went to a Windows store and tried to play around with their phone a little. What a clusterfuck, I hated it.

I've actually had some problems with my iPhone 5, whereas my 4 was fine <_<

Much prefer the 4, other than the lack of LTE

I'll never own an Apple product.

I've got an Android phone now. Looking at the new Blackberry or a Windows phone next. I like the interfaces that both use but lack of apps might keep me in the Android camp. Hopefully by the time I look to get a new phone, the apps will be there.

What type of problems? The only thing I've encountered so far is that it froze a few times, but I changed cases and that hasn't happened again.

Just generally extremely slow...like slower than my iPhone 4 was on iOS 6. I've also got a problem where I'm not getting any alert/notification sometimes when I get texts and calls, I'll just unlock my phone and have missed calls or unread texts that showed up since I'd last unlocked it.

A definite issue with your particular phone unfortunately. No wonder you're not happy with it. Take it back to an Apple store, that should not be happening. I had the 4 as well. Once yours is working properly, you'll appreciate it so much more.

I did, and they won't do anything about it because they can't replicate the problem - it happens at random it seems :shrugs:

Is it worth updating iTunes on my computer? I haven't taken the time to for a while... at least over a year since I've updated it.

@Powerage, you could speed your phone up (normally this works if you don't already do it) by doing this.

When on home screen, double click home button.

Hold down the first app until the minus sign comes up.

Get rid of all the apps.

You can do this whenever you want, I normally do it every time I put my device on sleep.

No, in the name of all that is holy - keep using an old version of iTunes.

And I know about closing apps - that's not the problem. The phone is just unresponsive a lot of the time, it's also a problem that they couldn't pinpoint.

Did you update your iPhone wirelessly or when it was plugged into your computer? I believe if you made it wirelessly that could be the problem. The update from Apple had a few glitches I believe. If I'm correct the only solution would be backing up all your music, apps, and other data on your computer and restoring your iPhone. I assume it isn't jailbroken correct?

Nope, do my updates via USB. I've tried the hard reset also, still no luck.
