Have you ever wondered if Axl was inspired to get cornrows after watching Bo Derek in the movie 10? I know everybody thinks Axl was inspired by Allen Iverson and Snoop Dogg, but I think Bo Derek was probably his real inspiration.

I think he was going for the Predator look to freak Slash out who kept hallucinating little Predator creatures whilst high. Ditto the little red figures in the Better video.

In 2002, maybe he was going for the Drexel look, but I thought Drexel had dreadlocks.

How Axl was doing it in 2006, I thought had a lot to do with David Beckham, I remember people bring up his name a lot at the time.
