Backing Tracks

Lately (this week) I have been playing tuned to E for a change (opposed to Eb).

I decided to learn a new song/like what I did with that (If There's Any Justice by Lemar)... Then I decided to actually sit down and learn Purple Haze.... but before doing that (I planned to finally learn Purple Haze but I got distracted with); I decided to learn Stairway To Heaven; A song I knew a little of/parts of...

So for 2 days now I've been playing Stairway To Heaven.

It's fun, and it's in E

I learnt this song and then I went back to Purple Haze, now I have Purple Haze (sorta') in E standard but I could so easily take that down to Eb I guess. (Also, a part of me knows that that could be better, in Eb). :P

This backing track is the latest in a bunch of backing tracks that I like; I like these things; they're there in my musical world so to speak.

This Duff McKagan Welcome to the Jungle track I found the other day is fucking great!

Tuning: Eb

This Izzy backing track confused the Hell out of me; I found it before I found that Duff McKagan one...

WTF... It even takes all the solos... So I'm still wondering what this is and if it is what it claims to be.

Idk. Like, it's doing what Slash does, like, there's no fun left in this for lead guitar because... All the solos this guy does and even that thing with the ringing out of the C# in the chorus... So if you're lead guitar, this video leaves you doing the intro... and then a lot of the rhythm! It robs you of your god given fun parts! (That C# squeal, the bridge, the solo)... All this video wants you to do is the bloody intro for it and that's it, you can play along, but then you're rhythm... I like what it does so I can ring out B# C# chords; but it robs me of my squeal, my solos, and has me there for intro and rhythm...

Yeah this is weird. The Slash lead licks and solo are in here instead of Izzy's parts behind them. No idea why that is, but those lead licks/tone are unmistakably Slash. Weird backing track... and they're still panned left for the most part. Izzy's track by itself is definitely out there somewhere.

I'm listening to this song, have been lately...

I've been listening to it on it's own merit (like it was it's own track) - Catchy.

I can play along to it, despite it starting right away and making for a shorter intro.

I could play and then press start (if I really wanted to) but... Playing guitar and then leaving to press something isn't worth the hassle, so I just end up having a shorter intro because of.

But I like this track anyway. - I have treated this one like a song, because I like it.

This one is sweeeeeeeet!

I was just in E and cba to down tune to Eb so went for this; Just fou

It being a drum track didn't matter what tuning I was in, and thought that'll be cool.

Is a great video for My Michelle.

I can't listen right now since I'm at work but if it's the tracks I'm thinking of it's because they're ripped from Guitar Hero 3. That's why they aren't true multitracks that are exclusive to Izzy or Slash. The correct ones exist but the Guitar Hero ones don't always have the player playing the main line so that's why they tend to bounce all over the place.
