Tater Totts
The wonders of living in the countryside It comes to something when even izzygirl has faster internet than you. But it also comes with beautiful views, fresh air AND a relatively stable economy and a 7.7% unemployment rate, instead of 27.7% :awesomeface:Good deal IMO.It is kind of annoying as where I live is in the middle of two big towns that have fast internet, but the exchange we're connected too must use vines rather than wire connections, it is hopefully being upgraded in the next year or so but the speed isn't too bad. I can do everything I need just fine, granted I can't watch videos in HD but even when I was at Uni with fantastic internet I didn't. only real problem is that it takes a while to download games, on the plus side though I don't have any download limits. Thank goodness for the small victories

Thank goodness for the small victories Games suck you in and waste your time. You're better going out for a walk in the fresh air. Your body and brain will thank you in about 50 years. Because you'll still be alive. In all honesty I think if the speed you have doesn't bother you much there's really no problem. The fact that the two towns in close proximity have fast internet is small compensation for the fact that folks there live in housing that most likely is less than ideal: noise that probably wakes them up at 3 or 4 in the morning, having to walk for ages to find nice scenery, apartments that overlook brick walls or an intersection of traffic lights. Nothing fun about that.

I live in the countryside too, as you well know. And if you pay attention to the distance with the server is further away.

I think using misery and a horrible situation for many people to try to make fun (or whatever that was), out of nowhere, of someone you don't like is beyond lame. The only fun part of this is that you don't dislike anyone, right? At least, I base my opinion on your posts and it's not simply based on the fact that I need strangers' approval to feel better with myself, even if for that I have to act like a teenager faking I like what I don't and trying to appear all cool. That's what a fucked up person would do.
Black Sabbath
This is what I typically get at work:I have up to 50 mb/s at home but usually get around 45 mb/s directly connected.

Ace Nova
Only supposed to be up to 10 mbps, so I guess it's working fine. This is through a wifi router. Costs about $50 per month plus taxes. Edited October 28, 2013 by Kasanova King
The Linguini Occurrence
I'm too embarrassed to put my numbers in because my internet is ridiculously slow, but I pay only $25 so I guess I'm getting what I pay for.

Who cares. If I could get even up to 5 mbps for $25 per month, I'd take it. That's enough for what I need it for - surfing and Netflix. slash23579
So I was having trouble loading my nightly porn session, so I took a speed test, and here are the fantastic results. In all seriousness though, my internet cost $50 per motherfucking month, and I never get download speeds higher than 5 Mbps, and I never get upload speeds higher than 1.5 Mbps. And it constantly goes down the toilet like this.
