DieselDaisy
Are you a chick? McCoy wants you to fix his broadband then. Seriously, what a bunch of cack. All of this gigabytes nonsense. ''Does my computer work?'' Yes, just about. ''Good. It has done the job it was set out to do then''.

Val22
When I changed to Verizon cable it was supposed to be super fast. I don't think it is. It seems the same to me like any other cable company I've had. Luckily, I don't do any important work on it for it to bother me much. bacardimayne
Advertised as 50 down 3 up Home server hosted by my ISP Seattle server Canadian internet is notorious for two things - low upload speeds and data caps. I have a data usage limit of 400 GB I believe, but I don't think they actually enforce it. Edited February 19, 2015 by bacardimayne

My account resets on Tuesday, I went over on Sunday. They even blocked YouTube (which they denied doing) at one point.Unfortunately there are only two ISPs I can use where I live and the other one is $50/month for 1.5 MBPS. Our two options are basically Shaw and Telus, and they're pretty much the same thing in terms of rates, speeds and caps. There are smaller companies that offer better rates or no caps, but they have ridiculous installation fees and poor technical support. I live on the outskirts of town, so AT&T won't come to us and satellite internet is shit.
Bumblefeet
Download: 28.75 MbpsUpload: 4.71 MbpsPing: 14 msAnd that's wireless. Weird thing is if I stay connected for a while I sometimes get readings of 6 Mbps download, when I reconnect it goes back to normal. Annoying. I do use an extra router because my modem is located two floors down. There was a time I downloaded a lot but nowadays I have so much stuff I still need to get through and even though our download/upload volume is limited, I'd have to download like crazy to max it out. Getizzyback
Great, Charter tells me my internet speed will improve at no additional cost ($60 a month),but it looks like it got worse comparing to the test I did last October.
