^^Naw.

No Axl>Half-assed Axl.

Something is better then nothing if you're a fan of Axl. You can always choose to stop following what he's doing.

So Bumblefoot has pretty much confirmed that the 2-3 new songs will be old songs they haven't played live yet....

I knew 2-3 new songs was too ambitious for this "band."

He didn't confirm it, cause he doesn't know. It's not his decision. Axl can decide mid show that he's in the mood to play a new song, unlikely as it might seem.

I'll always follow what's become of my favorite singer of my favorite band.

But sadly it's more due to the unbelievable, train wreck of a soap opera he's diminished himself and the GNR name to than discussing what he's actually achieved in all this time.

I much rather have an Axl who has enough dignity to walk away and retire, instead of having a sad, mopey, man child doing everything half assed and effortlessly just to keep the bank account afloating.

If O Globo is incorrect are people going to be disappointed in them or Guns n Roses?

On the newspaper, of course. Don't announce shit that isn't official.

  • 2 weeks later...

O Globo, a Brazilian newspaper, are reporting a 7-date Brazilian leg commencing March 20:

Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, São Paulo, Curitiba, Florianópolis and Porto Alegre

Why would they play on that many cities?

Bands don't usually do that when they come to Brazil...

I'm guessing because they are immensely popular in Brazil and Brazil is undergoing an economic boom. They sold out shows in Brazil when people were starving....probably figured with people doing well, it will be that much easier to sell out even more shows.

Furthermore, hold off on labelling this as further pointless touring. We can also exclusively reveal that the band are planning to present 2 to 3 new songs during next year's touring.

But there's more...

A lot more. While we aren't at liberty to divulge any further, MyGNR encourages you to approach 2014 with a clear sense of optimism.
