Apollo
What do you guys think of Richard Fortus's side project - Like An Army? It's fronted by - don't laugh - King Of The Hill's lead singer. For those of you who have no clue who that is, they were a mildly successful hair metal band from the late 80s. They had two songs that received air play on hair banger's ball. They were more of a funky rock band - nothing special or memorable, but had a couple catchy tunes. I Do You and If I Leave were their two main songs.Anyway - Fortus is playing in a band called Like an Army and their video is called Taste Of It. It's a classic late 80s hard rock song and video. Tongue in cheek, not to serious, just fun rock and roll. My first thought was that it was pretty cheesy, but after a couple listens it is really catchy and I think it's a pretty good song, especially if you liked the old bands from that era - Crue, Van Halen, GnR.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HN-SRaMWEgc

Apollo
I thought GnR fans or fans of classic old hard rock would enjoy it - oh well.I thought it was extremely catchy and way better than Going Down.I guess music is all about personal preference though!
