The thing with Kendrick is that his songs somewhat don't always work outside of the album, since it's so concepty. I'm assuming this is the first single off his upcoming album.It is kind of a strange first single for his big follow up. I saw a bunch of reports saying it leaked so they just released it. I don't know if its the official planned single. It has an album cut feel to me.Quite liked that new Kendrick song!Between that and his verse at the end of this, he won't be dropping off. I'm just getting really bad vibes from what's going on in this video. Im not talking about the awkwardness but the racial implications going on here.And thinking about it, I know you'd probably have the same result if you had a heavy metal band in that small room playing to that mostly-white-executive crowd, but it's a little weird when it's a young black kid and he's dancing, doing a twirl, etc for this white dude in suspenders and glasses at the head of the table just thinking about the profits hes making off the boy.
