robin2002
This is not an ego thread by the way, just wondering what the biggest crowd my fellow musician GN'R fans have played to - mine is around 5,000 when supporting a band (not sure if I'd get laughed at for mentioning the band, if anyone wants to know I'll happily say though) - for my own bands headlining show, probably bout 400/450 for our album launch. What's yours? Iron MikeyJ
Mine is probably around 250. But we get a solid 100 or so for every show we play, which is pretty impressive in my area. Also considering these 100 people are coming just to see us, really makes it cool. I have fans, lol. But come this summer I think we will eclipse that easily since we gearing up for a big summer run. Powerage5
In one of my bands, probably about 2,000 - opening for The Wailers. Performing in something academic (marching band and indoor drumline), I've performed to 20,000 on multiple occasions.
estrangedtwat
I sang in front of about 600 Japanese junior high school students. Does that count?

sweetness
Probably only about 500 people for an all-local bill a few years ago. I've had the opportunity to open for 2 national tours and neither of those shows drew as well, the music I play isn't exactly very popular but it has it's niche audience of very passionate fans. I'm way more use to playing empty bars than anything else though My band really didn't start getting attention until the last few years or so, now we consistently draw 50 - 100 whenever we play which is alright for our little music scene. I just started a grindcore/powerviolence band that seems to be moving much faster though, hoping to land a spot on this big metal/hardcore festival with those guys.
rocknroll41
i once played "Crazy Train" to nearly 900 people in middle school. That was fun for the most part.

DangerousCurves
About 1,800 but I don't know if it counts. It was a charity show for homeless veterans. And the home less veterans were the audience. They were there more for food, clothing, and free medical than to see us.

TeeJay410
Living in the south in the us, a relatively unknown fact about southerners is that they fucking love live music and don't care who is playing it. I play with a local country singer who consistently draws 1,000 people to gigs, not necessarily because he is ridiculously popular but about half the crowd would probably be there regardless of who is playing. Those are really fun, especially since I'm not the focus and there isn't much pressure. In a sense I can relate to current members of GNR. My "passion project" band probably has gotten around 500, but most shows are around 50-100 haha! Unfortunately there's not much of a market for the music we play in our area. It's not until we go out of town to Louisville KY or Knoxville TN that there are good crowds.
Bumble's Bridge Pickup
Like 250+It was really a really weird performance with a really weird band in a really weird event. The "band" was formed earlier that day and we weren't even sure if we could get the gear we needed. We played one cover song with altered lyrics. I improvised a shit guitar solo.It was pretty awesome!
