would rather drink cyanide

Don't drink cyanide!!!!

Just choose to not go!

That's the beauty of music. People can choose what shows they want to attend!

I'm just glad that there are so many musical options/genres out there for people to enjoy.

This is why I don't like the new merged sections ...

People are worried about what's happening with GN'R ... BBF leaving ... Axl retiring .... who fucking cares about Gilby at this time? .... ok, I understand if some people do, but , does it need to be in the main section?

-.-

I am surprised more of you guys don't like Faster Pussycat.. I always liked them and wanted to see them although I think Taime is the only original member left... I will most likely be going to this since Gilby is playing too. All set with the Bullet Boys though.

I think the singers of FB and BB(Taime and Marq) are all that's left of the "classic" lineups of each band. Kevin Dubrow is dead so it's mostly scabs in QR as well(I think Alex Grossi who plays with Dizzy in Hookers&Blow is still in the band) Anyway out of these bands Gilby would be the opener followed by BB, QR&FP at least in terms of popularity/hits. I think the first BB album went gold or platinum so that'd make them more popular than Gilby. My show doesn't have QR but for $15 it's a fun night of rock n roll.

Back to FP, I think I saw them on a Poison tour about ten years ago though I guess they have more of an industrial sound nowadays. Also, Del James must be good friends with Taime since he posts about them fairly often and goes to their shows.

There's an entire section to voice opinions like this. Otherwise, there's the option to just not click on the threads that don't interest you which is a pretty sweet feature of the forum.

If Kevin Debrow was still alive, I'd be there. Quiet Riot just isn't Quiet Riot without him.

If I remember correctly Taime and Axl are parallel characters.

Taime wanted to take FP in a new direction--make the sound more experimental and industrial like. The actions he took in order to go in that direction broke up the old band. He was on That Metal Show a few years ago, and he looked and sounded like a wreck. He was on with a surprisingly cheerful Jani Lane, who shortly after the taping committed suicide. It was so bizarre, because after watching that episode, if someone told me one of those guys in that room was going to be gone the next week, I would have said Taime hands down.
