Guest Len B'stard
I read about this on Fri, was gonna make a thread actually but I didn't think no one'd care. He's playing King Herod isn't he? I don't think he'll cause mayhem, i think he'll try his best to...do the best job.
classicrawker
Not criticizing him Sugar as part of his charm IMHO is his unpredictability......based on his behavior at the press conference I think the producers of this production are going to have their hands full with him which will hopefully result in an interesting final product.......just can't see him conforming...... Zint
He acts up in press conference type environments, it's his shtick.I think Len's just saying that when it comes down to it, he'll do what needs to be done to do it right. He's probably right. Guest Len B'stard
Exactly, yeah, weren't saying you were criticising him or anything CR, just mean like, he's someone that makes a lot of like...commitment and seeing it through etc. Which isn't to say he always sees em through, I'm a Celebrity being an obvious example. But i don't think he'll bring anything like...this ain't like a gig or a band or like, just your thing, when you're in a stage show it really is no joke, you don't like...it's not just like a gig thing where you can throw a strop and leave it really is a serious commitment and really quite out of order to walk out on a production like that, i don't think he'd do it unless in very extreme circumstances. Zint
He might stop a performance and tell some silly cunt to turn his fucking phone off.

Guest Len B'stard
I don't think I'd go either if I'm honest.

ZoSoRose
I saw Jesus Christ Superstar with Ted Neely (played Jesus in the movie) about 5 or so years ago. He killed it considering he was in his 60s. Great production
Zint
I just saw an ad on tv for the Toronto show. They billed him as "John Rotten Lydon".
