Its a matter of where he is at in his life and how he feels about Slash and where I stand. I won't push it so I think the best chance is if we happen to bump into each other. There is pain on both sides and it very Complicated. All I care about is that he is doing well. I have old friends that I don't see anymore but I know if I needed something or if they needed something it would be done without question. I have to pretend that Axl is just one of those old friends that I don't see anymore but that I still care about. Until he can understand clearly that what I do is not a bad thing, he would rather not see me. I hate being a pain in his ass every time he sees me promoting my work but I don't see any other way. I am who I am and he does have a right not to support it. I can't live a fake life and pretend that the old band never happened. This is not really about him and me. Its about his hate for Slash. You almost have to look at it as if he had a nasty divorce and here I come putting out their wedding album for the world to enjoy. The bottom line is you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink until he wants to. I may live the rest of my life without talking to him again but I will always defend him when needed. There are lyrics that he wrote in Get In The Ring. "You be rippin' off the fuckin' kids while they be payin' their hard earned Money to read about the bands they want to know about" Well I'm doing that letting the fans read about the band they want to know about. The problem is Axl no longer feels that way and doesn't want people reading about the old band anymore.
