I'd like a new album before a reunion but a reunion if it'll take 5 years of the same touring cycle to even get it released let alone play anything live to the intensity of 2010 again. You can't even make a claim anymore that this is new guns n' roses when there's only been one album in 15+ years and the current line up were barely even on it, time's ticking away so a reunion seems the more apt choice for the band at this current rate. I always think about the potential but potential obeys the rules of expiration.

New albums on a regular basis, starting in 2014/early 2015, and then a new album every 2 or 3 years with tours in between.

My dream scenerio would be GnR releases a double album in November 2014, half of it CD leftovers rerecorded by the current lineup, the other half new material (mixed together, not one cd for each). Axl and the guys then tour until 2016, and release a single album consisting of 14 songs recorded by the new band. Repeat every 2-3 years, and release videos, do live tv performances, interviews, etc etc etc.

Fire Team Brazil
Fire Ashba
Fire Frank
Fire Chris Pitman

Hire a new drummer. Write a new entire record with Bumblefoot and Richard on leads. Release it before 2015. Promote it. Tour the world including less CD songs, the new songs and new old songs from the UYIs.

My actual choice was for a new album, but I also want more professional management. Don't think they need to be fired but they could take back seats watching while a real manager does the real work. All they have to do is sit him/her down on day 1 and say, under no circumstances are you to look for deals involving a reunion tour without prior consent from Axl himself, effectively saying don't even bother thinking about it!

I'm sure that has to be a given if you choose to manage Axl everyone knows how he feels about slash.. But that doesn't stop managers once they see those dollar signs, I mean they do want to make money who doesn't and ruinion=most money the GnR brand could make

I remember a few years back Sammy Hagar offered to manage GnR for Axl.... Axl should've taken him up on that offer, reunion or no reunion, Hagar is a good business man.

First choice is new album, second is new manager.

not so cool... it's a classic guns deal. Sammy could work well with Axl, Axl would be going crazy, Sammy would laugh and say have a shot of my new rum, chill Axl out and then talk it out. I bet Axls current management do whatever he says when he's in a bad mood, 'please him until he's happy again', sammy could handle him, sammy knows crazy... he was there, I don't think he would consider the current guns though, the money would not be enough. Manager of a reunion guns would be amazing and definitely worth the travel and it would likely be a huge party and Sammy loves to partay!!!! Mas tequila!

The Complete Chinese Democracy.

3 CDs and the proper artwork.

After that, I'd be happy. Tour would be nice, but only if Axl hits the gym and rehearses. And if they fired DJ. Bumble and Fortus can handle everything just fine.

Call me crazy, but I'd actually like to see a new guitarist or change in the lineup. Preferably with DJ being the one replaced. I mean, he's not the worst guitar player I've heard, but I realize his place isn't in Guns N' Roses. I'd like it if a more fleshed out version of "The Ballad of Death" made it onto the new album, but not him. The only problem is, I really have no idea who I'd want to see added to the band. I mean, yeah, I've thought about it, but none of it has really been things that could happen or stuff I'd actually want to happen. Ideas that are cool when they're just ideas, you know? But, the one guitarist I'd really like to see in this band is the least likely candidate to ever join.

But honestly, I don't expect new members any time soon, at least in the form of guitar players. I think if any were to leave or get fired, the first thing Axl would do is run to Buckethead. When Buckethead says no, he'll go to Finck who may or may not agree to reuniting with his former band. In the event that he cannot, Axl will find someone else or just carry on with with the other two. As for new bassist and drummers, I don't really have any clue there either. Some drummers would be neat candidates, but again, not gonna happen. Brain would be nice to see again though. On bass? More unlikely candidates.

Other than that? Music, of course. I'd even settle for Axl releasing Chinese Democracy with the stripped down version of the songs, or even the 1999 Appetite for Destruction rerecording sessions. I'd even be just fine with a single song being released in an official capacity, even if it's one we've heard before like Going Down or Silkworms or Oh My God's "complete" version.

Not that I would recommend anybody watch a Dj Ashba interview... or a phone interview (the better of the two arguably) but he gives all the info you might want here. They have worked up songs the band has never played before but they have not rehearsed or have any plans to play 'new songs', new songs means old guns songs... I'm assuming they'll roll out some of those new songs at Vegas otherwise it's fallen through again, It would be really tragic if they went back to vegas for a 2nd residency with almost the exact same setlist.

NGOG or whoever must have got there info mixed up, don't know why an insider would have thought the inclusion of 3 more old guns songs in the set would be big news or something worth talking about anywhere outside Guns forums.

Whatever is happening, before, during or right after Vegas this band needs to make a commitment to a record and get it done. They make it out to be the hardest thing in the world when most other artists love writing and recording, the only struggle is the business end... sooner you get it recorded sooner you can sort the biz stuff and then you can tour for another 5+ years, with a relatively subdued fan-base, credibility would be upped as well, "wow GnR managed to release a follow up 7 years after their, last which took 14 years and Xmillion to make" yada, yada... it's good press and they need every bit of that, that they can get.
