Apollo
they sold it to a commercial....? this bands integrity just crumbles as time goes by...rightBecause other big name bands don't sell their songs to be used in commercials Naw, I don't think that was really his point. On this forum, Slash gets crucified any time he does something that would be considered commercially selling out while Axl is praised for having musical integrity and for not going that route. If Slash had released one of his songs for a sports drink, some posters on here would be blowing up the board with rude comments making fun of him. When Axl does it......those people either praise his move or are quiet on the matter.People just wonder why a group on here has such a big double standard concerning the two former bandmates.Personally, I couldn't care less. An artist can use his material to make money in any fashion they want. I'm sure MLB and Gatoraid paid a nice chunk of cash for the song rights. I'm sure all the members who got paid can use the extra dough.

Val22
Love hearing WTTJ and Axl's scream!A lot of musicians have their songs for commercials. Why not GNR?It will remind people that Axl and GNR are still alive and well and still out there.
Bono
I've seen it on tv. It looks kinda cool but Welcome to the Jungle would fit so much better with hockey or football.
