Rovim
Nice to know that much like old Guns, VR was a real band. A collaborative effort. Scott and Dave were a big part of it, and Sorum even won riff of the year for Set Me Free and came up with cool drums for Slither. It took them 10 months to find Scott and I think they got lucky. It will be even harder to find someone to replace him and still making it pass as VR.
jmapelian
Before there was DJ Ashba, there was Dave Kushner.Who is he again? Not even close. VR was playing all of contraband before it ever came out and never lived off their past success like new guns do. And Dave never felt the need to imitate anyone like DJ doesSo he's the Paul Huge of VR?more like the Izzy of VR --
tange
Why didn't VR just get Gilby? would have been cool, no offense to Dave--seems like a good bloke.
TeeJay410
Why didn't VR just get Gilby? would have been cool, no offense to Dave--seems like a good bloke. Would have been to GNR esque. Dave and Scott were the reason the band wasn't just another Slash Aerosmith blues rock album. Granted Duff has a big part in drawing Slash from the generic, note "Watch This."
