So, that song is out in 1981. Appetite was out in 1987. SCOM became a HUGE hit in what, 88? It's 2015 now. NOW he's wanting a lawsuit?

And the Police recorded Every Breath You Take in 1982.

Lies was released in 1988.

But really, if you never have, listen to EBYT and you'll hear SCOM in it.

Seriously? I know both songs well, and I don't hear any similarities. They share some chords,but in a different progression. Comparing the melodies doesn't fit either. I'm sorry, but I just don't get it. Where do you hear a similarity?

Someone mentioned it in a previous thread. The bass line sounds similar to SCOM's main riff. It's just a point that several songs have similarities to other songs made before it.
