Mansin Humanity
I probably have 150 or so... for a while it was my sole way of getting new music. I'm less adamant about having something physical now, but if a band I'm a fan of comes out with a new record, 90% of the time I'll buy it on CD. Every now and again if I'm in a record store I'll buy a few as well.
Broskirose
I don't think I'll ever buy a CD again. If I'm getting a physical product it'll be vinyl. Maybe if GNR puts out a new album I'll buy one just so I can listen to it in the parking lot of Best Buy again but back then I didn't listen to the leaks or anything so it was all new to me. The album will have already leaked by then so it will be pointless.

Bumblefeet
I started out buying cds, then went vinyl (did the turntable thing), after the 90s tired of it and got rid of my vinyl collection and now mostly have my small CD collection. I have all of it ripped in itunes and more, and for new releases tend to go the download route. As there are no more record stores here in Belgium and shipping costs for a CD are insane, the downloadable alternative is far easier and cheaper. The albums that matter to me I will hang on to in CD format, but anything new usually ends up on the shelve after I've ripped it in itunes. estrangedtwat
Hell no.There are rare exceptions of course, but my days of purchasing CDs are long gone.Shit....my days of paying for music at ALL are long gone.
Carne_asaDA
Yes, unless the CD that I'm looking for is hard to fine, I'll resort to Itunes or whatever. But I buy the CD, download it to my library, then to my Ipod and I'll usually never touch the CD again. I still need to physically have it. RussTCB
I don't. Somewhere around 8-10 years ago, I ripped everything I had to VBR MP3s and sold off what I had. Only physical media I buy now is vinyl and very few blu-rays.
Mastodonny
I only buy the deluxe reissues.

ZoSoRose
I buy new CDs all the time for albums I am excited for. One day, I'd love a great vinyl collection
Zeppelin
I still buy them all the time, and have quite a collection. I'm thinking of starting a vinyl collection also.
Jabberwocky
Last CD I bought was Chinese Democracy.Same here and the last time before that was in 2002. I've had alot of people give me CD's so that really doesn't count,
31illusions
I rarely buy CD's unless it's GN'R or Slash. I download music and burn to CDR's. I've never owned an ipod.
Georgy Zhukov
I basically only buy CD's for bands and artists I like. Vinyl I am not too crazy about. My wife has some old records she got from her grandmother. It is nice listening to The Beatles or Buddy Holly on vinyl. But CD's are cheaper for the most part. Gordon Comstock
I still buy a lot of CD's. I'm currently waiting for 5 to arrive at my house, but they're all Buckethead Whenever I can afford it, I try to get GNR bootlegs/singles/EPs/etc. I have a small record collection with some cool GNR albums too but I prefer CD's/ipod most of the time.
Georgy Zhukov
I haven't downloaded music in over a year. I overdid it and got up to 20,000 songs. Probably nothing compared to some of you guys.
Gordon Comstock
I download lots of music, my 80gb ipod is pretty full (used to have a 160gb that had even more). But I never pay for downloads.Foxy Shazam's new album is only available digitally or on vinyl, but the shipping is as much as the record

Bono
That's all I buy. Still buy about 3 per month. I've never bought anything off itune or any other type of file. I download random covers and stuff by random people off youtube but that's about it for downloading. I have about 2500 cd's and have sold about 3000 over the years at second hand shops. CheapJon
Yes I do, I pay for Spotify as well. Haven't downloaded music in years and don't have a single downloaded song on my computer.
Zint
I still buy from time to time. The recent Zep releases being an example.
Val22
I still buy cds. I listen to my cds in my car most of the time. The sound is better.I know most people have I pods, but I still like buying the cds. I figure bands are still making them so until something else comes out, I will buy them.
