Citizenship Through Naturalization

I just found out that my brother in America just became an American.

My sister in America became one in 2013 (or 2012).

Hmmm... I now have an American sister and an American brother.

Hmm..

Anyone here ever taken out citizenship in their adopted countries?

Also, I wonder what it means to become an American?

(Apart from now never having to worry about getting deported that is).

I guess they get a vote too, and, probably makes things easier on them, IDK.

Little Low

On topic....I'm a dual citizen by natural birth rites. (I'm guessing that's the proper terminology.... :shrugs: ) Since both my parents were born in Italy, I am naturally an Italian citizen (according to Italian law)....and since I was born here, I am an American.

Boom. ;)
