Here's the setlist from the second time I saw them in '79

Train Kept A-Rollin'

S.O.S. (Too Bad)

Mama Kin

Reefer Head Woman

Lick and a Promise

Think About It (Yardbirds cover)

Seasons of Wither

Bone To Bone (Coney Island White Fish Boy)

Lord of the Thighs

Sweet Emotion

Get The Lead Out

Walk This Way

Draw The Line

Same Old Song and Dance

Rats In The Cellar

Milk Cow Blues

Toys In The Attic

Was this with Jimmy Crespo?

No, it was a very wrecked out of their brains original line up.

This was a few weeks before the "milk throwing incident" in Cleveland after which Joe quit.

I'm going to see them (for the 2nd time) in September at DTE in the Detroit area. I'm pretty excited about it tbh. I also prefer the older stuff, but I do like their PV through Nine Lives run, with Get a grip being my fav of that era. I really enjoyed their Japan documentary they did a couple of years ago, they really seemed to be bringing back more classic tunes for a while. Out of curiosity how many pre 1980 songs did they play at the show you went to?

I'll probably be there too! If i go it'll be my third time seeing aerosmith and 6th time seeing slash

This was the setlist of my first Aerosmith show. ^_^

Back In The Saddle

S.O.S. (Too Bad)

Big Ten Inch Record

I Wanna Know Why

Lord of the Thighs

Lick and a Promise

Get It Up

Sweet Emotion

Walkin' The Dog

Mama Kin

Draw The Line

Same Old Song And Dance

Train Kept-A-Rollin'

Milk Cow Blues

Toys In The Attic

That's a pretty good set list, but no Dream on or Walk this way? Really??? I would take out Milk cow blues and Get it up, and replace them with dream on and walk this way for sure, that would be a set. I would also take I wanna know why and replace it with Last Child.

I know that it was a Draw the Line tour, so some DTL tunes need to be in there, but I wouldn't cut Dream on or Walk this way...

It occurred to me that around this time, Dream On was somewhat of a bone of contention within the band. If I'm recalling from the Aerosmith biography correctly, Joe fucking hated the tune and taunted Tyler about it, that plus they were sick to death of playing it live. That might be why it disappeared from the late 70's tours.
