WFA
So the back story for this. I have had Mötley Crüe's Chicks=Trouble stuck in my head and I decided to listen to it on YouTube. Well the first video that came up wasn't Crüe, it was some tribute act called Sixx Times Mad. I couldn't make it through the chorus Based on the video they posted for Shout '97, you've got a Theatre era Nikki onstage with a CoS Vince (who is the worst singer I have ever heard, it is an embarrassment to the real Vince Neil), present day Mick Mars, and I can't see their Tommy. And the backup singer, wtf? is that supposed to be JoZie or something? Anyways, they get my vote as worst tribute band ever What are your favorite/least favorite tribute bands? Nulla Lex Ink.
An oldie but a goodie. Not necessarily a tribute band, but still horrible, and needs to be shared at every "horrible cover" discussion possible. Edited July 27, 2014 by Nulla Lex Ink. Really? When the real thing isn't an option, some times tribute bands can be a fun night out. The Austrailian Pink Floyd Show (now called Brit Floyd) is fucking amazing. This is my favorite tribute act I've ever seen though:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9Y0L3jjBBsI see them every time I'm in Vegas. I actually got to do a song with them a couple years back which was awesome.

Powerage5
I've seen my share of Maiden tribute bands, as it's common for a pre-party or after-party to have a tribute band. Best I've ever seen was called Hi-On Maiden - they played the after-party in Cardiff in 2011, and did a set of only songs Maiden has ever played live. It was a lot of fun. ZoSoRose
I'm not that big into tribute bands but I went and saw Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience a year or two ago. He is a legit connection to the band so I figured, why not?Phenomenal gig, so glad I went! I don't know if I would ever go that far out of my way to see a tribute show unless I was in it, unless there was a band connection like Jason, or if there were awesome acts in it (like the guys in the Experience Hendrix tour)
