Ricky_Rose
Have any of you guys tried this coffee: BulletProof CoffeeI love it. It gives me enough energy for the whole day and there is no crash. Also, because it contains butter and coconut oil, it makes me feel less hungry for the entire day. I'll usually only have two small meals when I drink the coffee. However, my girlfriend and her brother don't particularly like the coffee because it upsets their stomachs.I highly recommend testing it out though. If your stomach can handle it and you need an energy boost, you'll love it. Plus you will probably start eating less also.

Sprite
I've heard of this through Joe Rogan and have always wanted to try it. You can make your own though? How much butter do you use per cup of coffee?

How much butter do you use per cup of coffee?I ordered the Keruig cups, but you can order the actual coffee and grind it up yourself. I use 2 tablespoons of butter and one 1 spoon of coconut oil. The butter has to be Kerrygold though.

(I only use 1 tablespoon of butter, however...I might try 2)

Patience 4 Axl
It sounds interesting, but the mere thought of putting butter In my coffee made me gag. I'd probably try it if someone else made it.
Crazyman
I've made it for other people who thought the same. It's actually really good, makes it a lot creamier. I usually put some milk and creamer in regular coffee, with this I don't put anything else in it and it actually tastes great. Ricky_Rose
I don't dislike the taste of it, but I don't like it either.

But yeah, bullet proof coffee tastes good. My philosophy is to stay busy, and eat breakfast. I find it easier to manage my eating when I have my mind occupied. Ironically, that was never the case in college. Now that I am working I force myself to eat lunch.
highvoltage
I live near a Paleo cafe that do it and I've been thinking about trying it, only because I drink a shitload of coffee and don't ever eat breakfast. I kind of hate fads like this though, so I've been avoiding it.

I never drank coffee regularly before this, but I'm just really enjoying the effects of it.
Christinith
I want to try this, but I need to get some MCT oil first.

Crazyman
I tried it with that extra tablespoon of butter before eating anything...you're right about needing a strong stomach. I actually liked it a bit better like that, however.

SoulMonster
So the point is to add lots of calories to your coffee (butter and oil) so as to not have to eat much later?
Lio
So the point is to add lots of calories to your coffee (butter and oil) so as to not have to eat much later?Yes, that confuses me too. Wouldn't try it. Black coffee is perfect as is
magisme
So the point is to add lots of calories to your coffee (butter and oil) so as to not have to eat much later?Honestly, I don't even know what the point is. I'd be happy if someone could bullet point it for me.Drinking it right now. My lips are moistened. At least there's that. Do my posts seem better than usual? More bulletproof say? Lio
Does it taste good ? It's morning where you are, isn't it ? Let us know if you don't have to eat anything at all anymore today!
magisme
It doesn't taste all that different than black coffee, which I usually drink. Just a bit creamier. I make very strong coffee, though, so that might be a factor. It's just about 8am here.
