DieselDaisy
The Megadrive was the best console. All the modern consoles cannot hold a candle to the Sega Megadrive.
MEXzilla
I really enjoyed Resident Evil 4 when it came out, heck even now it's great stuff. God Of War the series is a ton of fun, full of great gameplay and story. And my favorite of this past generation of consoles had to be the Mass Effect series.

The Glow Inc.
If I had to choose only one, I'd probably say Fallout 1. The setting, the story, the atmosphere, the dialogues, the meaningful choices and consequences. Love it.Other than this, I have a few other games that I adore : Fallout 2, Arcanum, Call of Cthulhu : Dark Corners of the Earth, Left 4 Dead 2, Carmageddon 1, and Project Zero 2 / Fatal Frame 2. Conor
I really can't decide, so I'll try to narrow it down to a favourite game on each console I've had and work from there. I've only just got a Gamecube so I can't say for sure yet what my favourite is, but from what I've played so far it'll be an obvious choice, Super Mario Sunshine or Legend of Zelda: Windwaker. Nothing too exciting, possibly Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.SNES: Legend of Zelda: A Link To The PastN64: GoldeneyeWii: Mario Kart WiiSega Megadrive: Sonic The Hedgehog 2Gameboy: Kirby's Nightmare In Dreamland/Pokemon RedGameboy Color: Mario Tennis/Pokemon SilverGameboy Advance: Mario Kart Super CircuitNintendo DS: Pokemon SoulSilverNintendo 3DS: Legend of Zelda: A Link Between WorldsPlaystation: Metal Gear Solid/Final Fantasy VII (honourable mention for the Crash Bandicoot series)Playstation 2: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake EaterPlaystation 3: The Last Of UsPSP: Metal Gear Solid: Peace WalkerXbox: Halo 2Xbox 360: Red Dead RedemptionPC: Halo or Call of DutyDoubt there's many surprises in that. As far as my absolute favourites go, I can't rank them, but I've got to say my Top 5 off the top of my head:Final Fantasy VIIMetal Gear SolidMetal Gear Solid 3: Snake EaterPokemon SilverRed Dead Redemption
