wasted
I do miss the DJs a bit, but there's still some of that on BBC radio. Podcasts have taken over for me in terms of talk but it's often low quality stuff. Talking Metal podcast I think it's called can be ok. bacardimayne
Real rock will never die. Radio sucks ass, why bother with it (apart from Sixx Sense 7pm-12am M-F on iHeartRadio.com, search Sixx Sense or go to www.tumblr.com/thesixxarmy/sixxsenseUSA) when you've got1-Pandora2-Spotify3-Aux jacks for your phone4-CD players?Lol, Nobody puts baby in a corner fans would still use CD players
luciusfunk
I still use the CD player in my car if I'm not using my iPhone.

bacardimayne
I still find the radio to be a decent way to find new music. I'd much rather be at the whim of a DJ's choice than some taste-o-meter 3000 automatic Internet radio program. Fuck last.fm
31illusions
Rock has been dead since the mid 2000's. Any music worth listening to is now classic rock, which is what GN'R is.FYI: Broskirose consumes the most gay porn. fun fact.

dalsh327
Rock is still a part of the pop music world and people are turning out in droves to festivals. You probably won't hear much of it on top 40 radio but it's there. Maybe rock's been defined 50-60 years in and there's no room for it to evolve anymore. wasted
The majority of the rock audience really prefers the old bands and new bands that are pretty paying homage to the old bands. If a band is too experimental they won't be big, not enough kids to carry them and older rockers don't care. Even GNR were just about bring the 70s back more. NIN, FNM and RATM seem like the last true innovators in rock n roll and they are more like cult bands now.
