Are YOU Happy?

Well they say those who are truly happy don't need to drink often, so I guess I am truly happy.

You're probably right about that.

I still enjoy drinking beer. I'm in sales for a living.....and beer...and my cigars are a natural stress reliever for me. :shrugs: I'm happy with or with out them.....but obviously, I prefer 'with'. ;)

Most days? No.

It's so rare I smile that when I do, even for pictures everyone makes a big deal over it.

I'm the moody one in the family & due to not being blood related to anyone in the family with no commonalities even in personality, I'm the dark cloud that rains

on everyone's parade. Even when I just sit there and do simply nothing but listen. Adoption isn't all it's cracked up to be....

Guess I was born that way.

Well...what if tomorrow you are the sun.....the sun that shines on every living being....you can see clearly now.....

:)

So let your SUN shine!!

not really, to be honest.

:(

PM me anytime, brother.....:)

of course not.

My grandma on my dad's side past away this year so did my grandpa on my mom's side. My parents are getting a divorce and my aunt has breast cancer. I don't have many friends and I am not sure what school I will be transferring to next year. No idea what I want to do for a career and I spend all my time going to the movies or browsing the internet. I guess a lot of these things could change if I was more outgoing and into the same things the ppl my age where. I know I'm whining but you askeddd.

I edited my post 4 u.

Tough times. I feel the same way many of times. Always remember...what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

I know this sounds really simple and cold right now....but you'll be better for it. You are experiencing the variations that life throws your way. You can become stronger because of it....or you can give into it and become weaker.

Keep your head up. There's someone out there that will depend on you one day. ;)

Sounds close to my teenage years. Both my grandparents died, my mother died from cancer 2001 & after marriage of 35 or so years my father remarried which was my worst nightmare. I too didn't know what the hell I was going to do with my life. At the time, I wanted to go to Hollywood and become a "rock star". My father even paid for guitar lessons for me to get started on my journey of......a pipe dream.

I also didn't have many friends and still today at the age of 32 only two. Friends aren't everything. Relying on yourself without needing someone there to validate you will pay off when you get older. Been there done that.

You will make it through and one of these days I guarantee you will be browsing the net much older than you are now only to find someone who sounded just like you did annndd....out comes what I'm saying to you.

Stay strong dark and you will make it through all this. If you don't journal I'd recommend it. Mine saved me more times than I can count-especially if I didn't want to talk about what I was so upset about.

Shit no. Never was. Don't think I'll ever be happy. But at some point, you either keep crying about it, or you pick yourself up and try to make the best of it, which I think I did.

To be totally honest, I'm quite sad, but it's not like I walk around with a long face all day. I laugh a lot, but I'm a sensitive person I guess, so everything just affects me in a deep way.

The way I see it, everyday above the ground is a good day, and I have my good, happy moments to carry me through life, and I love life. I want it to last as long as possible. Just because I'm not a happy person doesn't mean I can't enjoy life, and see the beauty of it.

Huh? nothing. Why? did my post offend your view on life? not everyone is capable of feeling happy most of the time, or even capable of not feeling sad most of the time. :shrugs:

Not all the time. Just being content, that is. What prevents you from being content?
