Roush
Man, having been a fan of Iron Maiden, I should have looked at Bruce's solo career a bit more. The album that inspired this thread is Chemical Wedding. Don't let the cheesy album title throw ya off -- it rocks, and is a really strong album. I can't help but think of how similar Jericho, and Bruce sound. Here's a few cuts that stand out. 1. "King In Crimson" has this really cool, bass/drum rhythm under the chorus. 2. "Chemical Wedding" is this jangly, gothic ballad. The chorus is phenomenal, more "Pumpkins" than "Maiden". 3. "The Tower" begets with a great bass groove. The guitar hook is tasteful, with shades of mid-90s alternative pop rock. The guitar solo feels like a MTV Cribs tour of the guitarist's mind ranging from your usual metal "let's rock!" solo, to power metal, to something classical you would imagine Bach playing.6. & 7. "Gates Of Urizen" & "Jerusalem" is this great, slow-building duology of kick-ass, goblin metal.
maynard
Love Bruce. All his solo albums are brilliant. "Darkside of Aquarius" is my favorite song.
Powerage5
Bruce's solo stuff makes up for the lackluster decade from Maiden. Every album is excellent in its own way. I know I have an unpopular opinion, but my personal favorite of his albums is Tattooed Millionaire (However, The Chemical Wedding is a close second and Jerusalem is one of my all time favorite songs by any artist). Bruce had supposedly been working on another solo album with Roy Z on and off for the last year and a half or so - hopefully something comes of it soon, and hopefully he tours for this one since there wasn't a tour for Tyranny Of Souls.

moreblack
Tattooed Millionaire is my favorite as well, just one of those solo debuts where everything goes right. He really went out on a limb immediately after quitting Maiden, Balls To Picasso was brave and effective, Skunkworks was a real departure, doesn't work for everybody. But then he hit his peak with Accident Of Birth and especially Chemical Wedding once he brought Adrian Smith into his band for those albums. Having said that, unfortunately with Adrian absent from the lineup in '05, Tyranny of Souls was largely forgettable. Zeppelin
The Alchemist is one of the best closing songs I've ever heard on a metal record. I absolutely adore that song.

Sure, it falters a bit in the middle, but "side one" (so to speak) is killer, as are the last couple tracks. I think the best way to describe it is it's Bruce's most inconsistent album. Powerage5
I'm guessing most of you guys haven't heard this before - Bruce doing Jerusalem acoustic with Ian Anderson: And Revelations (with a couple new verses):
