double talkin jive mfkr
hey marc i know its hard to pin point 1 track on appetite that when you first listened to it or even listen to it now that it still blow you away - i personally believe that brownstone when pumped up load on a good stereo sounds so fucking amazing and is in essence a perfect song that defines GNR at its core u got adlers drumming which is over the top perfect, slash's screeching and izzy's rythym and duffs support not to mention axl's perfect delivery of vocals - the song is tidy and dirty all at the same time what song surprised you or still surprises you from appetite? recklessroad
How about I tell you the only 2 that doesn't which would be Anything Goes and Think About you not that I don't like them, it's just that they don't hit me as much as the rest of the record. It's so easy is a song that will pump you up. WFA
when you first heard the final version of the record, what were your initial thoughts?
recklessroad
When I first heard the record after it was recorded, I was so happy that they nailed it. I knew that they had hit there goal in making a great record.

Rovim
I love all the songs on Appetite. Anything Goes has a cool Slash talk box solo, and Axl wails on it. Maybe not good enough to be on such a great fuckin' album, but I still enjoy listening to it from time to time. Mr. Dude
Anything Goes and Think About You are both decent songs. They are better than several songs on UYI imo. I prefer either one of them to the AFD version of You're Crazy.
