If it was anything serious he would have been arrested. If he runs in the next election he will win it.

I think the biggest problem he has right now is finding a new drug dealer, they're not going to want to touch him with a ten foot pole.

At least he can still get pissed and stagger around city hall late at night...take a piss outside.

I've grown up with many criminals (granted I'm not the mayor) so I don't care about that aspect. As long as he, or any mayor that is in power, saves me money (which Ford has done) then smoke all the crack and piss on as many trees as you want.

Interesting that you didn't answer the 2 questions though.

I think it's hilarious that he refuses to discuss the incidents/charges against Sandro because "it's a matter before the courts" but at the same time he wants police to release the video...which is evidence to be presented at trial.

The skits on Kimmel featuring Jerry from Parks & Rec as Ford have been hilarious.

EDIT: Didn't know that one of the posters in this thread was from Toronto. Should have figured the person in question as a Ford supporter.

Guess you don't consider the $140 million Ford wasted on the LRT cancellation as "saving you money." His balanced budgets have come on the back of the $330 million surplus the previous mayor left him.

So let me get this straight. Regardless of what drugs and how often he uses them, how often he gets drunk while on city business (or on city hall property), who he associates with (known drug dealers), how many women he inappropriately gropes at city functions, the numerous times he has lied about all of it, and his complete unwillingness to answer one legitimate question from established media outlets - so long as he's saving you a couple of bucks you're fine with it all.

Really? Has the standard of excellence that low that you can't expect more out of a Mayor who runs around the city acting like Tony Soprano and in the style of Chris Farley?

What I've learned out of this is that no Torontonian (or Canadian for that matter) can make fun of the U.S. for having the Tea Party. Apparently we have something just as rotten: Ford Nation.

Ford personally saved me $60 on a license renewal tax that shouldn't have been out in place to begin with. No one wants LRT either someone else wasted the $140 million.

In regards to him groping that politician. It may it may not have happened. From what I've heard she's ha a vendetta for Ford long before that happened so I'm not sure how much stock one can put in it.

I think many people are still butthurt (no pun intended) that Ford chose to attend the long weekend with his family versus attending gay pride.

The LRT was paid for and already underway. Ford wanted it gone and it cost the city $140 million. That's a lot of gravy.

Really? So out of the six issues with Ford that I outlined you pick the one thing that hasn't been completely verified? And why should anyone ever believe Ford on that matter? Seems like his denial of groping doesn't hold much weight since he has lied about everything else he's been accused of. Why would he be telling the truth about that incident? He's lied about his past criminal record (DUI in Florida), lied about yelling at someone at a Leafs game, lied about getting drunk at the Taste of the Danforth, lied about there not being a video of him committing an illegal act. And you still want to believe his side of the story that he wasn't groping Sarah Thompson at this party:

But sure, you saved your $60. Guess that's all Toronto's reputation is worth nowadays.

I would post the list here but it's too long. But if you're looking to kill an hour and have a laugh (and a cry), I highly suggest reading this:

Updated List: 113 Things Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Has Done Besides Smoking Crack In A Video

http://jeromiewilliams.com/2013/11/03/updated-list-113-things-toronto-mayor-rob-ford-has-done-besides-smoking-crack-in-a-video/

EDIT: Some highlights:

2 2/15/1999 Ford is arrested in Miami, Florida, for DUI and pleads guilty to failing to provide a breath sample. Ford is also charged with marijuana possession; the charge is later dropped. “The [defendant] approached me and took all of his money and threw it to the ground,” reads the arrest affidavit. “The [defendant] was acting nervous. When the [defendant] spoke to me I could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on this breath. His eyes were blood shot.” Ford denies charges later during his mayoral campaign until presented with evidence.

9 4/15/2006 Security guards remove a drunken and belligerent Ford from a Maple Leafs game. After being asked to be quiet, Ford yells, “You right-wing communist bastards,” and “Who the fuck do you think you are? Are you a fucking teacher? Do you want your little wife to go over to Iran and get raped and shot?”

13 3/26/2008 Ford is charged with assaulting his wife and uttering a death threat. The charges are later dropped because inconsistencies in Renata Ford’s accounts make a conviction unlikely.

20 5/13/2011 Ford is audited for violating election campaign spending rules (improperly paying for his campaign expenses, wrongly borrowing money from his family’s holding company (Doug Ford Holdings), exceeding the campaign spending limit and accepting corporate contributions)

22 7/22/2011 Ford is seen driving while using his cell phone; he makes an obscene gesture at woman and six-year-old daughter after mother tells him to get off his phone

24 12/13/2011 TTC chief general manager Gary Webster reports that cancelling Transit City in favour of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s subway-focused plan will cost $65 million in penalties.

33 3/17/2012 A St. Patrick’s Day reveller reports seeing Ford “stumbling down the street … inebriated and sweaty but in a jovial way” and tells him “You’re the worst mayor ever.” Ford allegedly walks over, kisses her on the forehead, and responds, “I know, but I try.” Ford then heads into a private room in the Bier Markt on the Esplanade, where a staffer describes him as “incoherent” and “hammered.” The DJ working that night reports Ford is fighting and carrying on “like an idiot.” After “storming the dance floor,” Ford is asked to leave and escorted out by his own staff and members of the restaurant’s security team.

37 5/26/2012 Documents obtained by the Toronto Star through a freedom of information request suggest Ford is doing less than half the official work than he was doing a year prior; In January 2012, Ford averaged 11 meetings a week compared with 33 in January 2011, his first full month as mayor. In February 2012, he had 15 meetings scheduled each week, compared with an average of 34 a year earlier. According to sources that include former and current staff, Ford often does not leave his home until noon. Some days he never appears in his office. Councillor Adam Vaughan calls Ford “a part-time mayor.”

54 11/26/2012 Ontario Superior Court Judge Hackland finds that Ford has violated the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act by participating in the council debate and voting on whether he should repay $3,150 raised after he used official letterhead and other council resources in fund-raising letters for his football foundation and declares the mayor’s seat vacant, the decision to take effect in 14 days. This decision is later reversed on appeal.

56 2/23/2013 Ford arrives late to the Toronto Garrison Ball, a gala event celebrating the Canadian armed forces, speaking in a rambling, incoherent manner that alarms guests. He is asked to leave because organizers are concerned he is impaired. Ford is being driven in a Range Rover by associate Alessandro “Sandro” Lisi; also in the vehicle is childhood friend Bruno Bellissimo

60 3/8/2013 The number of lobbyists registered at City Hall in 2012 is triple the 2010 figure; the number of subjects being pushed has doubled; allegations of misconduct have tripled; daily communications between lobbyists and public office holders have increased tenfold.

79 5/22/2013 Ford staffers hand out “Rob Ford: Mayor” promotional magnets at the funeral of Toronto Sun founding editor Peter Worthington. When questioned about the allegations of his drug use by reporters as he exits the funeral, Ford tells them, “Have some respect.”

104 9/19/2013 Refusing to comment on an investigation into several incidents of abusive behavior by aide David Price at Georgetown GO station, the democratically elected, taxpayer-paid Ford declares “It’s actually no one’s business what happens in my office.”

105 10/1/2013 Ford’s friend and occasional driver and bodyguard Sandro Lisi, previously described by the mayor as “a great guy and straight as an arrow,” is charged with with marijuana trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime, possession of marijuana and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. after a police raid on a dry cleaning shop whose owner, Jamshid Bahrami, is also charged with possession of cocaine, trafficking in marijuana and conspiracy. Lisi has told three associates he has supplied drugs to the mayor, and he has a long record of police interactions including convictions for threatening and assaulting women; his lawyer, Domenic Basile, has previously told the Toronto Star that he knew his client was under investigation for matters connected to trying to retrieve the video allegedly showing Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine.

110 10/16/2013 Ford calls for the outsourcing of recreational workers and the firing of a city employee after Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti circulates a photo allegedy showing the employee sleeping on the job; Ford calls it a “complete embarrassment” and a “black eye on the city” and says he doesn’t want to hear “excuses.” Another photo immediately goes viral depicting Ford leaning back on his chair, with his hands clasped on his stomach, his face relaxed, and his eyelids shut during a marathon executive committee meeting in June 2011.

112 10/21/2013 Ford spokesman Amin Massoudi accidentally texts Toronto Sun reporter Don Peat with a request, apparently meant for another Ford staffer, to send the mayor’s hospitalized brother Randy a gift basket. The basket should cost around $150, says Massoudi. “[Ford] wants it sent on behalf of the mayor’s office,” Massoudi says. “It should say: ‘Get well soon from the mayor’s office.” Massoudi later texts Peat, apologizing for the confusion and asking him to “please disregard the messages” detailing the mayor’s use of city resources for a personal gift to his brother.

Ah but he's vewy vewy sowwy.

But not for the crack use and lying about it. He's waiting for the video to be released before he has to apologize for that.

I heard today on CP24 that the cops asked to talk with him and he said no.
